SharkBite 1/2 Inch Tee, Push to Connect Brass Plumbing Fitting, PEX Pipe, Copper, CPVC, PE-RT, HDPE, U362LFA

Great product! Worth it for easy connection and no leaks!!

If you were doing hundreds of Tee's these would be too expensive, but for only the two I had to do to add a sink hot and cold supply, these were perfect. Turn off water, mark the PEX tubing, cut the PEX tubing, slide the PEX ends firmly and completely into place and you are done. No bands, no copper sweating, work in tight space. What a life saver!

Trying to solder wet plumbing is really hard to do properly and using a torch runs the risk of setting your house on fire. These fittings solve those problems. The fittings are well made and easy to use, just make sure to follow directions. A clean cut (don't use a hack saw!) and a clean pipe is vital to prevent leaks. I watched some videos on-line to avoid making mistakes. The tools that they sell for de-burring the cut, marking the installation depth, and undoing the fitting if necessary don't cost very much and I highly recommend that you buy them.

GOOD STUFF Im using this to split off of the main line from the meter (PEX) to more PEX then to a Sharkbite Female to PVC with a 1" shut off valve to 1" PVC, under driveway to mailbox area for a spicket for drip irrigation of trees + an additional spicket for a hose + an additional capped off line for future sprinkler valves (if decide to install those in that area at a later date). Sharkbites are AWESOME, up to code (all codes they meet or exceed min requirements), and are guaranteed for 25 years - GOOD SHT! GREAT STUFF - very easy to use / install - NICE ! ! ! What else is there to say? They work GREAT and they also WORK GREAT EASY, SIMPLE, SOLID, CODE FRIENDLY, RELIABLE, STURDY, they definitely make life easier Highly recommended. oh yeah, and $19.24 is an excellent price

I purchased for an upgrade to my RV water heater bypass. I needed something easy to install in a confined area. There was no room for a pipe wrench or a PEX crimper. These are literally plug and play. I like the idea they can be removed and reinstalled if needed. Highly recommended.

Ive ordered many of these. This past winter when we had the polar vortex many of our pipe joints started to drip- they're old copper pipes and I think the soldering was damaged by the extreme cold. So I've been slowly replacing the worst ones first. They are easy to use but you MUST know how to do them. And you cannot use a hacksaw like I originally tried and ruined one, and they are kind of hard to remove even with the tools. But they are sturdy and much easier than soldering.

Used both Tee and 90 sharkbite. All Connections went together with ease and no leaks! Used pex cutting tool And marked pipes with gage to make sure inserted all the way in. One really nice feature the fitting can be turned after connector is on pipe for Tee’s and 90 degree connectors!

Very easy to use and install. There are other products that are very similar to the Shark bite product at a much lower cost. I used both on this project to try and could go either way in future.

Very useful and easy to use.

I've used Shark Bite for a few years and it is a really good product. If you use the PEX tubing and make sure the connections are secure ( all the way in) They do not leak. These fittings cost a little more but they work....no soldering and going back to repair a small leak. You can take these fittings out easily and reuse them again and again. A really great product. p.s. don't buy anything that doesn't have the shark stamp. I did once and it is not the same quality.

Sharkbites are the best way to hook up outdoor water lines. Super easy to use. Make sure you cut your lines straight and slip on the shark bite. Easy, easy to use. Will definitly be buying more of these in the future
