Use a different seller, if you’re in the UK!! Plug specification was not mentioned on the product description, nor were the pictures showing the plug. This has a 2 pin plug. I bought a plug to use with it, off Amazon. Plugged it in and it blew! Strong smell of burning! Total waste of money and I don’t know how to contact the seller! It also came with NO straw!! Not happy at all, total waste of money. I’ll be buying one from Argos in the UK!

It works well, but hard to carry around since it's big

I’ve killed two of Ninja’s rechargeable portable blenders in the last year. Weak blending, batteries that swelled and literally smelled like they were burning, constant stalling on anything thicker than water. I swore this BlendBOSS was my last chance with Ninja but it passed with flying colors. I throw in the works every morning: milk, protein powder, spinach, half a frozen banana, handful of frozen berries, and a full scoop of ice. Hit the button and 30-40 seconds later it’s a perfectly smooth smoothie – no chunks, no half-frozen boulders, no need to babysit it. Only minor quirk: once in a while, for example, a big frozen strawberry lands flat on the blades and it won’t start (safety feature). One quick shake and it fires right up. That’s it. No drama. The 26oz tumbler is genuinely leakproof, lid screws on tight, and it’s easy to clean. If you’re tired of underpowered portable blenders that die after a few months, get this one. It’s not rechargeable, but it’s powerful, consistent, and hasn’t let me down once in 3 months of daily use. Worth every penny.

This thing is amazing! My daughter uses it for her blended coffee it literally takes 10 seconds to blend ice for a smooth coffee drink. Great for smoothies too. It is actually leak proof, no it's not a myth it really doesnt leak! The lid is easy on easy off and attaches to the base very easy as well. It's not as loud as my big ninja blender, it is still kind of loud, but you only run it for less than half the time of a normal blender so it really doesn't seem very bad. It's small design easily fits in my cupboard, and out of my way. I do wish that it would've came with two cups, and that the replacement tumblers weren't quite so expensive, but what can you do.
