Bad quality control, hardware doesn’t fit stand, angle is too severe
The mounting hardware isn’t manufactured to the right specifications, so they don’t actually fit into the rails on the shelf/riser. When I compare the hardware to the stand leg hardware, it’s slightly thicker. There’s a quality control issue that needs to be addressed with this manufacturer/seller. Update: The seller refunded the item and sent hardware that actually fits in the slots/rails of the shelf, which was appreciated. However, the laptop tray/stand is almost useless due to the angle it holds the laptop at. My M3 Macbook doesn't open wide enough for the screen to point at me — it points downward. Your laptop would have to open up beyond 130° for this to work, which seems wild. I also noticed the pictures show a macbook as an example, and it's simply not true to life. The stand also is different than what I received; it has curled ends to support the laptop. Is this just false advertising?
