This is not only an effective aerator, but a good looking one. I have several aerator and decanters already but wanted to give this one a try. It does the job, and looks good doing it. A solid and well made aerator.

Rabbit Wine Aerator Shower Funnel with Sediment Strainer, in Stainless Steel, is an excellent wine tool. We keep several so we can decant multiple bottles simultaneously. The level of sediment removal is excellent, as the filter is very fine. It fits great with many decanters. We like to use it with the Eto Decanter. With the Rabbit, it aerates the wine, which helps big reds to open up nicely. Moreover, for older wines, the sediment removal helps significantly. My wife says she experiences no headaches now with the sediment removal when drinking red wine. It is easy to clean and very easy to use. At $20 on sale currently, we bought several. And they make excellent gifts.

This is a well-made funnel with an excellent sediment filter. Also if you’ve decanted the wine but don’t finish it, the funnel allows you to easily pour back into the bottle. Easy to use and good value. Highly recommended.

Bought this to replace the glass unit I broke. It’s nice and sturdy, works with my Rabbit decanter. Only negative is that you must pour wuickly for the wine to fully flowfrom the holes and strike the sides of the decanter during aeration. Seems to aerate the wine just as well as the glass unit did, however.

Have tried other aerators in the past, but the stainless steel is what caught my eye with this one. Plastic aerators stain and with that it makes you wonder if germs, bacteria, and flavors are accumating as well in those impossible to clean areas. This areator is easy to clean so am confident there is no reminants left behind. The sediment strainer is a very fine screen and works well when the cork breaks or for sediment from those 20+ year old bottles of wine so we can get the last drop out of the bottle. Definitely recommend this!

These combination filters and aerators are probably the best tool in a wine drinker's kit. Most of the table wine we buy is moderately good wine, then we hold it for 5-7 years before drinking. At least an hour before drinking we decant the wine into a serving vessel, using this 'tool' and it takes out the natural sediment as it as it aerates the wine - the end result is that it makes it the best wine it can be at a minimal price and effort. The 'tools' are also very easy to clean, just rinse with tap water. They are made of quality stainless steel so they last for years, there is no corrosion or sediment build up of any kind. I have bought them for family and friends and they feel the same as we do about their amazing utility and practical value.

This is the most innovative wine aerator I've seen. Very easy to use. VERY easy to clean. It does the job better that any other one I've seen.

Vale para para los dos decantadores que tengo, queda genial también de adorno, a ser un aparato que poco gente conoce.

Son dos piezas el embudo en sí mismo con los orificios para que se oxigene el vino y la otra pieza que se inserta en el embudo tiene una coladera muy fina que retiene los sedimentos que se forman con el paso de los años en vinos de guarda. Ambas piezas de buena calidad.

I took a chance with this and it really paid off. I love the way it is designed and the two-piece concept which works very well especially for wines with a high level of sediments. You can pour into a decanter through the filter normally and there is little to no spillage which is great. The quality of the material has far exceeded my expectation as well. I would highly recommend it to any wine lover.very happy with what I have.

This is a well made product that does a good job for either aerating a young wine to bring out its full flavour and/or filtering out sediment in older wines that have been laid down for longer periods. There have been some negative comments about the very fine filter used for trapping sediment which tends to clog easily. However the sediment thrown by an old wine always includes very fine particles such that a fine filter is necessary for this task. The answer is to follow the usual discipline of standing the bottle upright for at least an hour before decanting and then pouring carefully in one go without tilting the bottle back halfway: the sediment is then confined to the last 50ml or so. Gently rubbing the bottom of the filter with a small spatula (or clean finger!) will help the last of the wine to pass through into the decanter. A valuable tool for the serious wine lover
