This product has been a life saver for my toddler that can digest milk well. She would have extremely hard poops (Level 1 or 2 on Bristol Scale) but this fiber has really helped her have normal, soft bowel movements. It dissolves easily in any food so it's easy to put in her bottle or water or even breakfast oat meal. There are no weird added ingredients or weird taste so we're very happy about that. It's a bit pricey sometimes but really, for the benefits we get from this product, I think we're lifelong customers. Our pediatrician was also in support of us using this specific product and said she tends to recommend it as well for constipated toddlers.

My 4 year old son has had a feeding tube since birth — an ng tube when he was in the nicu & gtube from about 9 months old until current. He’s been taking more orally but still requires his gtube to get the appropriate amount of calories for his age. He’s not quite eating solids yet — that’s a whole work in progress. Between the Pediasure via g-tube, milk, and orgain nutritional shakes, he hasn’t been having regular bms & he’s constipated. I have tried sooo much to get him to go. Pedialax, prune juice, liquid suppositories, etc. They help, but not enough to regulate him. I did a ton more research and found this Zarbees product. Read the reviews from other people and asked my son’s feed team their thoughts. One thing that consistently stuck out in my brain to date is that people have mentioned it takes about a week for it to kick in. I got this about 10 days ago. I started out with one scoop in my son’s nutritional shake. The powder has no smell or taste and it dissolved quickly & he drank it just like he always does. Did this for 72 hours just to make sure all was well. Days 4-7 I put one scoop of the powder in his nutritional shake and one scoop in his milk. Day 8 he had a huge bm that wasn’t rock hard. Day 10 he had another big bm that wasn’t rock hard either. Yay!!! Today is day 11. I will adjust accordingly going forward. The whole point was trying to get his BMs regulated so fingers crossed he can continue on this path! I have zero complaints about Zarbees Regularity Support Prebiotic Powder. You get a good amount of product for the cost. It doesn’t work overnight but I certainly feel like it did what it is intended to do. A scoop is included in the jar of powder for easy measuring. I absolutely recommend this product for any kiddo - whether they are tube fed or not - who has infrequent BMs to help regulate them. Fiber is key & there is 6gs of fiber per serving. We use this on the daily to keep our toddler regular! We’ve used for over 8 months as our daughter became more picky with food to ensure she got fiber and no constipation. A lot healthier than prune juice in milk since there is no sugar, our daughter doesn’t seem to even notice the taste, texture, or anything like that! It’s invisible basically. This is a staple for our fam!

This is amazing stuff. My toddler has had constipation issues since she started solids at 6mo old. We have had to give her all kinds of different things to help her pass it all over the years, but this is by FAR my favorite one yet. She can’t taste it or see it once dissolved & she’s finally going on the potty herself now that she isn’t in pain doing so.
