Excellent machine for the price. Happy to recommend
I ordered a 6kg Hisense 6012EVM washing machine with 2 year warranty via Amazon. It is incredibly quiet, it spins great even on a low RPM, it has loads of programmes which are all useful and it uses way less water than my old Zanussi.I know how corny this sounds but everything is so much fresher, brighter and cleaner than before. No more grey grubby looking laundry, I had no idea how poorly my old machine was performing.I registered the Hisense online for the 2 year warranty. It performs amazingly well, far better than the overpriced washers we looked at in a large high street retailer whose name rhymes with hurries.Having been disappointed with their TV in the past, we were dubious about going for another Hisense brand but 4 months in, I am so pleased we did.I highly recommend this machine and registering it with Hisense was a doddle.Customer services respond in a timely manner to emails.

Fantastic value abd easy to install
The 1st thing l noticed whilst unpacking this well packaged machine was the quality of finished and clean lines of the design.Fitting it was very easy with tools supplied and fittings too along with a comprehensive well written manual. The operation and settings are very easy and intuitive so it took minutes to máster.A very quiet machine even when spinning at 1400 rpm and the clothes are easy to dry as most fluid has been removed during the spun cicle.Even without a conditioner the clothes when retrieved from the machine smell fresh and pleasant.my only gripe after several weeks is it does not clean anywhere,as well as our previous Samsung and to get out even mild stains we have ro use a very hot long wash which is not economical.I am stuck with it now but l think l shall replace it sooner than later as overall l am not in the long term very happy with this purchase.

very quiet
So i thought i'd wait a couple of weeks to give this Hisense-WFQP9014EVM-Freestanding-9 KG-Front Load Washing Machine a review.it turned up in pretty good time, i didn't pay for the install as i've done loads of these but the first point to note is what incredible value on Amazon Prime - delivered for free - all other companies wanted £20 at least and the choice of delivery date wasn't that good from the others either. So i unwrapped it all, got it into is final position and gave it a short wash without clothes in as recommended. Then i gave it a proper load! it took a lot of washing - its says 9kg but im not sure that this drum is as deep as my last machine and that was only a 7kg!The different wash settings vary - i found the 'dark wash' the usual 'shortest' wash at just over an hour, or you can even go for a 3 hour cotton wash (does anyone even use that setting?) and various 'steam wash' wash settings and you can alter spin speeds and temps to suit - i do find that it needs an extra spin after using most of the settings however, which is a little annoying - my last was a Samsung so maybe they just have the edge on things like this.it has also had the F01 fault come up randomly a couple of times (which is the fill fault alarm) the pipes aren't blocked and i just hit the start button again and it started again, it also did it when i had the delay start on so it hadn't done the wash by the time i got home so its a bit weird and one i will definitely be keeping an eye on.All in all, for the price this appears to be an amazing machine - only time will tell on its longevity but we will have to wait and see on that one.And its very quiet - for now!

Poor choice of shorter programs, inadequate spin, and small but irritating design issues
I've had this machine a few weeks now and although I was disappointed with it on the first few washes, I delayed a detailed verdict until I'd made more use of it. Unfortunately, it hasn't changed my mind in that time. It was bought because my ten-year-old, very basic, department store own-brand machine had died a noisy death with the smell of burning rubber and I needed something delivered and fitted fast. The Hisense came up first on my search, and I reasoned that if I regretted it later, I hadn't blown a huge sum on it and I could replace it with slightly less pain. And that's where I am now. If there's some magic setting I'm overlooking, let me know. I'm really hoping there is. Basically, there are too many things it doesn't do, or does poorly, that my old wreck coped with just fine.Cons:* Programs: the main ones take two to three hours with no way to reduce time, and there's too little choice of settings. If you want a 35 - 40 minute wash at 60C, you're out of luck. (This has a knock-on effect I'll mention later.)* The 1400 spin speed: fleeces came out of my old machine almost dry after a 1400 spin. With this Hisense, they're still noticeably wet. I always did an extra spin anyway because I don't have outside drying space, but I find I need two extra spins with this to get the same result.* Unhelpful instruction leaflet: I had to trust online videos and reviews on other sites to find some basic information.* Small but annoying stuff: if you have a dark grey dial, putting a dark grey indicator on it might look cool and minimalist but it doesn't help people to see it easily to select the right program, which is the sole reason for the indicator being there. I stuck a bit of white adhesive label on it.* Draining the filter: there's no tube or chute to drain into a container like there is with other machines, so you just have to unscrew the plug with a towel underneath, unless you have enough clearance to slide in a tray or something. This is bad design. Even my old one had a piece of moulded plastic behind the drain door that hinged out to form a chute so you could direct the water into a container.* The detergent drawer: if you use powder, the compartment is narrower than most of the laundry scoops you can get, so adding powder without some spillage is a pain. I ended up getting a small 5 gram measure on a long handle, which takes a bit longer to achieve the right dose but is easier to aim.Pros: well, it looks nice and it's very quiet. It's also cheap, and at the time it beat taking the laundry down to the canal and bashing it on rocks. But here's why I hate the thing. My old machine had a similar number of programs, but on the main wash ones I could set the temperature at 20C, 30C, 40C, 60C, and (on cotton) 90C. I could also reduce the run time from hours to half an hour. I have nothing like that choice with the Hisense, but eventually I realised I could select the quick wash for everything and force a longer run time on it by increasing the temperature – 40C will make it do 30 minutes. But 60C is beyond it. Sixty is the temperature you need to kill germs, and the one I used most, but it's going to take a couple of hours at least with this, whereas my old machine could reduce it to under 40 minutes. (The dark wash program can do 60C in just over an hour, but I haven't used it yet because I'm still trying to find out what the difference is between that and other regular wash programs.) The longer the wash takes, the later I can start drying it, and if you've got a tight schedule it's enough to be a problem rather than a problem-solver. This is what I mean by knock-on effects.Juggling through non-intuitive settings to achieve what very basic washers could do a decade ago hasn't endeared the brand to me. Why not sacrifice one of the steam programs for a more flexible basic wash?

Semplice, silenziosa, veloce
