Fantastic product, and NO IT’S NOT the wrong color.
Right off the bat you might think they sent you the wrong color when you get it, but trust me it’s not. We ordered the one that looks clear and has prismatic colored effects in it. When it arrived it looked smoked on the roll, like tint for car windows. We decided to install it anyway, thinking it’s just for a bathroom so it doesn’t matter all that much. Turns out once it is unrolled and installed it is the right color. It’s not tinted at all, is very clear and translucent, and has the colored prismatic effects just like we wanted. Installation is pretty easy. The instructions said to clean the window, then spray water on the glass, then peel the backing off of the film and apply it to the glass and use a credit card to smooth out the ripples. Only thing I lacked was a spray bottle so I just used a wet rag to wet the glass and then applied the film. That worked great. For trimming to size I just rolled the film out and cut it to the exact length needed for the window width. I used a metal ruler as a guide and just used a pocket knife along the edge to cut the film. It cuts easily. I figured I’d cut one length exact so I don’t have to trim it two directions once on the window. You have to cut it anyway to remove it from the roll, so just cut it exactly to length. Then I pressed the film onto the glass, and being cut exactly to length it fits side to side just right, and then I had the top edge all the way up, so that means it fit perfectly on three sides. All I had to do was trim the final side. I use the credit card to smooth out the air bubbles and then press the final side tightly against the window frame and use my pocket knife to cut it for a pretty smooth fit. The final result looks amazing.

Privacy film for windows
Exactly what I wanted; the glass panels for my TV unit turned out beautifully. It's an easy product to apply and glue. I easily glued it on following the instructions in the user manual.

I love this film, love the look, easy to handle!!!
I highly recommend if you are looking for a genuine reeded glass look. The product was easy to cut, it was easy to handle while placing on the glass. Yes, you do need to follow the instructions, unless you want air bubbles showing and want to battle the sticky side on the glass. . The film looks exactly as pictured after you peel the backing off of it. I have thoroughly done my research and I couldn’t find anything in amber, short of literally having real glass cut. The price is great, the look is real, and I found exactly what I needed to help finish my kitchen project!!! Thanks for making such a great product!

Difficult to work with
I've installed window film several times before and this brand was the most difficult to work with. It is the thinnest film I've used to date and had sub-par results. To install you need to use a squeegee to press the water and air bubbles out. It has been nearly impossible to get all bubbles out and, depending on the lighting and angle, the process of squeegeeing left visible light scratch marks all over. When you squeegee over this film, it literally feels like you are scratching the design, which I never experienced with other brands. There are better quality options available than this.
