These glasses are beautiful and feel noticeably more refined than basic wine glasses. The shape works well as a universal glass, so I do not feel like I need a separate glass for every type of wine. I have used them for both white and red wine, and the bowl shape does a nice job of concentrating aroma without feeling oversized. The rim feels thin and elegant, and the glasses have a nice balance in the hand. They look elevated on the table without being too flashy. The only downside is that they do feel delicate, so I would be careful washing and storing them, I broke one when washing it. They are not the kind of glasses I would casually throw into a packed dishwasher. But if you enjoy wine and want one very good all-purpose glass, these are excellent.

These are very nice red wine glasses. I like the design, the weight and the elegance. I use a special small brush to wash them & they seem quite durable.

These glasses are stunning! I’ve been looking for a “multi-purpose” wine glass that is sturdy, stylish, and holds a generous amount, yet isn’t too tall or large. These are it. They are comfortable to hold and they balance and fit nicely in your hand. The quality is great, yet should one break (as things do), it’s not too expensive to replace. I’ve looked at many brands, and this one is the winner. The shape is beautiful and visually appealing. If your wine could thank you, it would. I’ve upped my wine game! I just bought another box of these glasses. You can purchase with confidence.

I almost never write reviews but sometimes something is so bad, or so good I can't resist. I've enjoyed more than a few bottles of wine over the years, and have certainly used every manor of glass, including at least 3 or 4 different Riedel series. i gotta say, this is the best all purpose glass I have ever found at any price. The balance is perfect in the hand, the best I've ever felt. And the shape and size manages to enhance anything I've put in them, and I've put in a lot of different kinds of wine. And the best thing is the way the rim feels on your bottom lip when you drink. I've had them now for a few months and have side by sided them with several other glasses and i keep coming back to these.

Proof is in the pudding - and these glasses are classic, high-end and the best for bold reds. Very sturdy, deep and comfortable holding - worth the price !!!!
