I do like the appleclear, and would (and did!) buy again. Was surprised it indeed didn’t have that sticky feel glosses often do. Just a nice, light oil. But maybe that’s also why it doesn’t seem to last long on me. Needs reapplying often. A bit less fond of the stain/oils (tried appleginseng and applecherry). Showed up very different on me from what I was expecting. The cherry (on half lips for comparison) was way too bright (for my comfort), and the ginseng I thought would have been browner. And the color LASTS—even when I wished it wouldn’t.

I bought this clear one and two other colors. I like the clear much better than the ones with Color. The color stain looks a little unnatural. But I really like the clear because it makes it shiny and less for a while. I did feel like it made my lips dry out a little bit. Overall, for a glass, I liked the clear the best. works well over lipstick as well to make it shiny. I do not wear make up often for reference

I absolutely LOVE this lip oil! I use lip oils frequently because my lips are incredibly dry no matter what I do. I’ve used masks, balms, Vaseline, aquaphor and many oils. Oils are problematic because they can be thick, sticky and/or taste bad. But THIS oil is perfection! It is the perfect consistency, not thick or goopy. It is not sticky at all. The only sensation upon application is comfort. And it has no taste at all! The only thing that I questioned at first is the applicator. I was used to a large doe foot applicator and this one is thin and narrow. Initially I didn’t like it but now it’s my favorite. It is thin enough to close your lips around it and move back and forth for complete coverage. It’s perfect. I will never try another oil. I am so thrilled to have found this one!!!!

Perfect moisture retention. The clear provides a clear, shiny coating that in itself is attractive. Appleginseng is a vivid pink and applepeony is a softer pink. I’m not a fan of pinks, was hopping for more of a peach or coral tint, but if pink looks good on you, these are both pretty shades. A benefit I wasn’t expecting was the lack of bleed into my wrinkles around my lips! No need for liner unless you want to wear one, but again you don’t need to to stop the bleed of the colors. It stays on for an hour or so in the shiny/glossy state. It then turns into a nice glow of moist lips. Does a little plumping too without the stinging most plumpers cause. I’m wearing mine now; on hour 10 and still a moist lip! No stickiness at all. My future wish is for some peachy shades too. Buy? Hell YES
