5‑Cup Chop & Shred Food Processor, Compact Food Chopper, Easy‑Store Design, Silver FP-5

I am so glad that I made this choice against a bigger fancier, more involved a cup food processor First, what I wanted was something simple I didn’t wanna have to mess with learning what had to figure out which attachment. I just wanted something that would purée my dog food. It was just potatoes and sweet potatoes and celery and carrots, but I was trying to do all of that with a small mixer and I had to dig everything out of it so this is perfect. It was so fast so perfect so right for me that I just want to let you know that if you want a simple machine that will just purée whatever it is you’re making this is the one you should choose cause that’s the one I Chose.

This Cuisinart food processor is a medium sized workhorse. It chops vegetables and fruit. It’s great for making cole slaw and cauliflower rice! It’s easy to use and clean and doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. Highly recommend!

Not very long ago I needed to replace a mini processor so I did my shopping on Amazon first. I found a great replacement in this Cuisinart 5 cup Processor. It’s such a time saver. I make small meals nowadays and this has handled what ever I put into it, veggies of all sorts, crushed graham crackers and cheese. It comes with the standard chopping blade and a cheese grating disk. So very easy to clean and I put in the top rack of my dishwasher anl and it washes beautifully. Made of quality plastic that is durable. I definitely recommend buying and using this one.

I love my cuisine Art products!! The 3 cup was too small for me, but my sister LOVES the small size for grinding spices, IE for making curry, grinding the onions, ginger, and garlic. But the 5 cup is better for me. It also comes with a 2 option grating blade! So happy there are sizes to choose from!

So far I've primarily used this for shredding cheese, which it does quickly and easily. It's annoying that the little chunk at the end can't get fully shredded, but I think that's true for all similar machines due to how they're made. Easy to clean, powerful, and I'll get some good use out of this thing. Not sure what the difference is in flipping the shredding blade around though-- didn't seem to make any difference in what came out and the instructions don't say what orienting it each way should do. Would also have liked it to come with a finer grating blade. Took a little while to figure out that the lip on the top part needs to align in the correct spot (directly in front) on the bowl for the thing to turn on though. I realize this is a safety feature, but I actually find all the safety features on these things today a little irritating. A child shouldn't be using this anyway, but I guess if you're one of those people who stick their arm into a running snowblower to clear out the snow, these safety features are created for you. So, thanks for that. Overall, good product that I'd buy again, just a couple of things that could have made it a slam dunk, home run, or whatever your preferred sports metaphor.

Great chopper! Perfect size. Not too big or too little, so it doesn’t take up a lot of space but has the chute for shredding cheeses and vegetables.

I hate to give it 3 stars because it is a perfect size. The first one I received did not work but the second one works perfectly. This system does not come with a slicing disc and from my research, there is not one available for this model. Now I have to find a separate slicer. I am very happy I finally have a processor that is not too big and not too small.

I live alone so, although I do cook a lot, there are no sizeable batches like when cooking for a family. I decided to go for wattage rather than size and this little sucker is it!! Made dough without so much as a hiccup. Don’t think you can go wrong with a Cuisinart. The sale price was a bonus. Very happy with it!

Love love love this. It is compact enough to store, but still large enough to tackle various cooking and baking projects. You can chop, puree, slice and dice and it is super easy to clean. I only wish I had bought this sooner! It is a really great product at a very reasonable price.
