Love this Mat.I'm a Yoga Instructor and really wanted a quality mat - not just to treat myself, but also to hold up teaching everyday.This Mat is Special. The material is amazing. The shape is unique and I always get compliments.It lets me flow so nicely - no matter what style I'm teaching.The Grip, Thickness, and Comfort of this mat is amazing.

This is a luxury yoga mat! The material is extremely comfortable. It is sort of like suede or nubuck only a bit shorter. The size and shape make it great to get into many different poses without having to reposition myself too much. Just easier to get a good flow going. A bit heavier than the cheaper lower quality mats but definitely a great mat.

This yoga mat is a solid 3 stars for me.Pros-The texture of the mat is extremely soft similar to suede but softer. It is easy to slide on the mat into a new position. For example sliding into child’s pose is extremely relaxing because you just glide along the mat effortlessly. The texture of the mat creates a sense of relaxation for me.I really like how wide the mat is. It is not too narrow through the middle. That allows me a comfortable space for my practice.I like the rubber bottom because it grips well to my carpet flooring.I like the graphic that is printed on the yoga mat. It is nice to allow my eyes to focus on it during my practice.The cushioning of the mat makes me body feel comfortable and at ease.Cons-This mat was quickly deemed my at home mat. Weighing in at a whopping 6 pounds it is not easy to transport.With its longer length than your average yoga mat it takes up more space than usual. Finding a yoga bag I believe will be impossible. Although it comes with a carrying strap. I don’t think that makes it much easier to transport because my yoga mat slips out of it.I also noticed when the mat is rolled up you cannot stand it up on its end like a regular yoga mat because of the unique hourglass shape. Since the shape is not the same as a regular yoga mat the edges do not line up straight and flush. So if you were to stand up this yoga mat the edges would become bent and or damaged. I don't know where to store it where it can lay flat with its 3+ foot length rolled.I do like the smoothness of the mat but I also don’t. I did find that when I was in downward dog my hands were slipping if I did not moisten them. I would hate to have this in a class and have to dip my hands in a bowl of water or spritz some water on my palms if I didn’t feel that I was gripping enough.Overall I do love the size of this mat because it creates a more open space for my movements. I do you find it welcoming and I will continue to use it but I would love to see a few little adjustments to it.

I really do love this mat and get so many compliments! The mat is large and spacious, non slipping, easy to fold and unfold, very soft and cooling. Of course really cute as well, definitely worth the value!

This is beautiful large uniquely shaped yoga mat with a soft suede feel. It lays flat with no curling and has no smell. The mat cannot stand on end due to it's unique shape and comes with a handy carry strap.My intention is to use this mat for home practice only. If you are tight in space or in a gym that is crowded, I would think twice about this mat. The mat is 78" long, 26.5" wide in the center, and 34"wide on the ends. Also, this is not a thick mat. That being the case, it has some weight to it, but not as much as some other thick mats I've used. I am using this mat on top of carpet, so it's thick enough for me. If I was on a hard surface, this might be a concern.This mat is only grippy if it is wet and your hands and feet are dampened. I have to keep a spray mister bottle handy to spray both ends of the mat before and during practice to prevent from slipping (stated in the description). This would be a great mat for yoga nidra, meditation, yin yoga or any type of floor stretching where you aren't concerned with grip.
