Coming from a Sony XB900N, I was expecting to be blown away immediately. TBH, the out-of-the-box sound was good, but it didn't wow me. The real magic happened after spending some time with the EQ in the Sony Sound Connect app. Once tuned the WH-1000XM6 completely transformed. The bass became deep and controlled, vocals remained clear, and the overall sound gained much more energy and detail. These headphones have a lot of potential, but I feel you need to take advantage of the EQ to get the best out of them. The ANC is outstanding, comfort is excellent for long sessions, and battery life has been great. Multipoint connectivity has also worked flawlessly with my devices. If you're willing to spend a few minutes adjusting the sound signature to your taste, the WH-1000XM6 is an exceptional pair of headphones and a worthy upgrade from older Sony models.

This is really impressive. The sound quality is excellent right out of the box, with deep bass, clear vocals, and enough detail to enjoy everything from music and movies. The biggest highlight is the noise cancellation and call quality due to 12 mic. Sony has clearly improved the ANC, making it feel even more natural and effective. Call quality (due to 6 dedicated mic) for office and personal phone call is best so far. Battery life has been excellent so far.

I’ve been a long-time Bose user for years and recently decided to try the Sony WH-1000XM6 — and I’m so glad I made the switch! The sound quality is absolutely top-notch — rich, balanced, and immersive. The noise cancellation is phenomenal, easily blocking out background noise even in busy environments. Comfort-wise, these headphones are excellent. I can wear them for hours without any discomfort, which is a big plus for long flights or work sessions. I’ve also owned the Apple AirPods Max, which sound great but feel a bit bulky and heavy due to their metallic design. In comparison, the XM6 feels lighter, more comfortable, and much more versatile — especially if you use non-Apple devices. Overall, the Sony MX6 delivers superb sound quality, excellent noise cancellation, and great comfort at a slightly lower price point. Definitely worth it — highly recommended!

Great noise cancellation but if you talk about the sound quality so the there is no major upgrade in sound quality as compared to Sony WH-1000XM4 the sound output or audio feels heavily processed in bluetooth mode but after some changes in equalizer mode the sound output is great. And I use my headphones regularly Listening musics, watching movies and playing games And this point is for gamers who are use there headphones in AUX mode so the sound separation in XM4 is much better as compared to XM6, where you have to listen foot steps, vehicle sounds, bullet sounds. And also the comfort is great but, if you upgrade your headphones from XM4 to XM6.

It's good nice sound and call is clear too. Hardy, easy to handel and wired Bluetooth both options. Charges quickly but it's very costly

Pretty good purchase 👌 Went for the name & fame of Sony and also XM6. Sound quality is good but I don't know is it just average or I'm already listening pretty good (galaxy buds 3 pro) device. Comparing these two Samsung galaxy buds 3 pro Vs Sony WH-1000XM6, where price difference is huge but the sound/music felt better on Cheaper one among these two. Rest connectivity bhot aachi h, touch controls aachi h, ANC v achi h, Mic quality v aachi h overall comfort bhot badhiya h. Sound quality idk, im not sure is price par justified hai ya nhi. Banki sb sahi h, rating 5 hi dunga, just for the deal in which i got this.

Sony proves yet again that the XM series are the best of the best . XM 6 sounds better than my old XM4 which was already very good . The headphone fits comfortably. Build quality is great and case snaps perfectly. The setup is super easy. Just scan the code and install the app if you’re not already using Sony headphones . Connecting to your phone is a breeze .You can adjust the noise cancellation , equaliser and otger settings in the Sony app. Even the app lets you custom set the equaliser as you play a song. You’ll hear the music notes which you’ve been missing . It justifies the premium price you pay. Excellent.

As someone who has owned both the XM4 and XM5 models, I can say the XM6 is the update I've been waiting for. Sony fixed the main frustrations from the previous version and made it much more practical. Easier to Pack and Carry The folding design is back. While the previous version looked great, it was bulky to pack. The new magnetic case is also a great touch, it snaps shut easily and is much handier for those of us who actually keep our headphones protected. It's perfect for travel Better Device Switching & Charging Switching between your phone and laptop is finally smooth. You can now manually choose which device is playing the sound, so you don't have to worry about the headphones getting confused between two sources. A massive improvement is the ability to charge while the headphones are on. You can charge the battery without being disconnected from your devices, which gets you back in action easily without the usual downtime. NC & Sound Quality: : It does a better job of cutting out background voices and airplane engines than the XM5. The music is clear and powerful without feeling muffled.

Amazing

The headphones are great. The noise cancellation teleports you to another world. Honestly everything is good, comfort, build, quality, sound in general. The only thing keeping me rating this 9/10 instead of 10/10 is the bass. The bass isn't that great but still good enough.

App on phone was a bit of a pain to set up but works OK once they are connected. The ear pads are nice and comfortable. I personally don't think the sound quality reflects the price but that's just my own opinion.
