The Lord of the Rings: Boxed Set

Loved the books the same as the content inside. The books have great cover designs and the dimensions are just right for the books to fit in your hand.

There are some books you cannot just stop talking about, and yet you cannot really express what all they make you feel. This is one such book for me. I have read the LotR before, and in one of my rereading sprees, I had this immense urge to read this tome again. And I loved every bit of it yet again! 💕 This is an epic fantasy, that has the optimal pace all throughout. It goes slow where needed, and then hastens up when the story so requires it. The characters are just too good. You simply get into the story and then it takes you along. Unputdownable is too weak a word for this book. It will bring you back to it from time to time and submerge you the lands and lores of Middle Earth. I know that this book is about the everlasting battle between good and evil. But to me more than that it represents a journey. I feel that is the main theme of the book. This journey does not end with the good winning over the evil, neither with the restoration of peace. It is the journey of small everyday people, their daily sacrifices, sometimes not even visible, the butterfly effects that lead to empires being made. It is the story of good enduring in times of extreme evil, and finally prevailing over said evil. It is this thought, amongst many more apparent and perhaps more powerful ones, that makes this story belong so near to my heart. I love it, as I know many of you do. I know I will come back again to read it. For those who haven't read it yet, I definitely recommend that you read it at least once.

Decent Product but don't get me wrong, AMAZING content... thing is for some reason while i was reading the first and second book, i couldn't keep the first book back in the box and i would loose count and had a magnetic bookmark... however now i cant fit the three books in the case now as the pages have seemed to have grown or expanded in size for both the second and third book... this is NOT the buy if you wanna keep it in the box as a set (not recommended for collectors) however for readers, the books are of COMPACT AND HAND FITTING SIZE which is AMAZINGGG and i love the product overall... lost one star 'cause of the books not fitting back in the cover issue otherwise W buy.

This product is ,frankly speaking here, probably one of the best ways to read the trilogy; to convice you of this statement here are a list of pros and cons i found with this bookset in particular: *PROS*- 1) Cheap and affordable when compared to other sets. 2)Better that most of the other booksets in the same price range as theyre more compact and have the original tolkein cover illustrations. 3)Books themselves are nice to hold and are GREAT for travel,due to their compact size they fit almost everywhere,so theyre space effecient. 4)no complaints about the text font size or the paper quality. *CONS*- 1) The spine does develop a white line after only the first read. 2)The cover the set comes in is not going to hold up, and is wildly inconvient to use.

What I have got to say which others have already said? Just pure epic greatness.

A must have for all LOTR fans. I put on the shire theme on the background as I started reading the prologue of the book. You could visualize everything if you've watched the movies before reading the books I did. Beautiful, simple language with maps and all original symbols in the books. The books are compact and have stylish vibrant covers. Go for it
