Not working properly 2 days after installation, but installation is too expensive to justify returning it :(
This hood would be great if was working properly, but only a day or two after installation, it started to make a loud sound when the fan is turned off... as if the fan mechanism is hitting something it shouldn't be as it slows down. It doesn't make this sound while the fan is running- only while it is slowing to a stop. It was not cheap to have it installed, otherwise I'd be sending it back. Not sure if this problem is the fan's fault or the seller not thoroughly checking out the refurbished products.

Mine has been in service for 5 years now.
Update 2018-12-28 As mentioned before, I was having a problem finding replacement parts for this unit but recently had a breakthrough. The company appears to have Canada-based distribution and the actual name is Conglom Inc. Once I contacted them by phone they were very helpful. I was unable to locate my original receipt so I had to pay minimal cost for shipping, but with receipt the entire replacement would have been completely free. I replaced the switch and it is working like new again. I would recommend some electrical experience and decent mechanical aptitude as well before trying the DIY repair but they had excellent customer service which gets an additional star. (original review) I bought mine from a local Home Depot and have been satisfied with it overall since then. I used it to replace a different brand range hood that had required replacing expensive dual mini-flood bulbs every 6 months before it finally died completely. The LED lamps on the Presenza have been in service for 5 years now and still going strong. I have only 2 issues: On highest speed the fan has some vibration. It draws very well though so I can live with that. After 5 years the latching push button switch for the light has stopped latching. The light still works but only as long as I hold the button in. I have not had any luck thus far with finding any parts for this unit to repair it though. If I can find that I would go ahead and give it a 5th star.

Nice range and durable
The only problem is finding the right size filter for it to replace. The size is 12 3/4 x 14. Difficult to find
