Best tasting black bean sauce!
After trying another brand, I was very happy to find this available on Amazon! Some brands have an overwhelming amount of salt and I think are meant to be used just a spoonful at a time. With this brand, you can use 1/4 - 1/3 jar in a big pan of stir fry, enough to get really wonderful flavor from the fermented soybeans and the chili oil.

Spicy and delicious
I put this in omelets, and on hoagies. Those of you concerned about the expiration date, remember this is a fermented food. I mean, it's not gonna' go bad. My hubs loves it in said omelets as well as sometimes mixed in with some bean dip to spice it up.

This is the best sauce you could ever eat!

Not Black bean chili sauce
This is not chili black bean sauce. I was very careful to look at the label pictured which clearly shows "Black Beans" on it but when it arrived the label says Soybean chili sauce and there are no black beans shown in the ingredient list on the back. The Kim Koo Lee label clearly shows Black Beans in the ingredient list so that will be my next try.

This is my favorite Lao Gan Ma flavor, but beware of the listed price here you may find it cheaper at your local Asian Market.
