Was skeptical after reading the reviews Needed something to catch the snails But it worked efficiently not to zero

the item came in undamaged. but the snails were not attracted towards this food !. nothing happened. Can anyone else leave a message if this worked ?

Its awsome prouduct for my small planted fish tank. Snails atracted to this tool and i can easily took outside the snails from fish tank. This tool is basically usful for small planted fish tank.

Useless product!!! Snail are crawling all over my aquarium expect getting trapped , my recommendation not to buy this product. Waste of money...

This snail trap works well for those prolific bladder snails that can quickly take over a planted aquarium. This device is simple to use, sinks to the bottom, is easy to retrieve, twist open and reload with more bait. It took a few days for the snails to be attracted to it. Once they found it I have been able to clear out a lot of snails. The snails flick off easy enough. I put them into a glass jar with a little bit of water and fill it quickly with boiling water to annihilate them as fast as possible. The snail bait that is provided works, but I found that the algae wafers that I have to feed my mystery snail seems to attract the bladder snails a little better, though not by much. It was worth the purchase for me.

If your tank is over populated by trumpet snails and you want to reduce their numbers this is the right stuff for you. Place the food (comes with the trap or use algae waffles) inside the trap, leave it in the tank and empty it in the morning. Repeat until it you need to. More convenient than removing them one by one with a tweezer. It won't work with bladder snails, at least I haven't found the right food that would attract them :)

Je confirme, ca fonctionne. Et ce n'est pas toxique pour les crevettes. Ca réduit rapidement la population d'escargots, qui devient vite hors contrôle dans un aquarium. J'étais très sceptique, mais j'avoue que je suis maintenant convaincu après avoir retiré au minimum 150 escargots... en une seule journée. et toutes les crevettes sont bien sur restées dans l'aquarium.. génial.

Save your money as this product, sadly, does not work. I had ordered plants (elsewhere) several months ago and literally the day after they arrived, I was in a wreck. No hospital stay but to say I was hurting like crazy would be an understatement so the plants stayed put in the box they came in for an extra day or two. When I knew that I had no choice but to get the plants in the tank, I was hurting to much to do the usual 1 part bleach:1 part water plant bath to ensure there were no snail eggs so of course I ended up with a HUGE snail infestation. I stopped feeding my fish and shrimp in an attempt to starve off some of the snails but they simply turned to eating all of my plants, including the new ones 😫. There has to be well over 100 snails in my tank with only a piece or two of plant life left so I purchased this with the hopes that it would work. It does not. I followed the directions and well, you can see in the picture that only 1 snail happened to be on a rock I had to put in the tray to hold it down (as the trap would not sink on it's own) but that was the only snail that was 'caught'. I even purchased an extra trap (the smaller one) and it also 'caught' zero snails as is shown in the video. Think I'll take the few fish I have along with my shrimp and shove them into my little 3 gallon with a prayer that they survive while I simply put bleach in my 40 gallon and start over.
