World Map Large 70x42cm Detailed World Scratch Poster

This is a very nice heavy good quality map. I got it for my girlfriend and she was over the moon for it because she has been looking at these for a while and this one was quite nice. Scratching off the countries is easy to do with the tool as well even for the tiny ones like the canaries. Takes some effort to get it flattened because it comes in a tube of course, but well worth it, highly recommend!

I found this was a very good item to perhaps gift someone, but it is a bit too expensive for what you get in general. The only faults I found was that1) it is really hard to flatten, and so doesn't stick to the wall with plain white/blue tack, which leads us to...2) You HAVE to use a frame, and these are very hard to find as this size is not common for posters, and it costs around 2-3 times the amount you payed for the poster itself, so you have to be up to spending around £30-£40 total. This may be worth it for some, as it is something you would have for a very long time.

The size is very good to show my world travels and to separate the countries. Each US and Australian state is given its own colour, so you can be more selective in showing coverage. It is easy to scratch off the gold coating very accurately with the supplied plectrum. Most colours are bright and vibrant. However, my only criticism is that several of the colours are very similar to the coating, so it is very difficult to notice whether these countries have been scratched off. Fits the bill overall.

Absolutely lovely item, I didn’t realise it came with a small magnifying glass, scratcher and cloth so that was a lovely bonus.As it was a present I put it in a frame without the glass and accessorised it.
