I have been using this powder faithfully for years. I have never had a problem with it causing acne or any problems forming sensitivity to it. If a person has a sensitivity, there may be an issue. But I typically have super sensitive skin and this does not bother me at all. I buy the 105 translucent/fair .. and have a light/medium complexion (53 year old skin). I find that it covers well, doesn't crease easily (my wrinkles don't pop out the minute this goes on my face), and it isn't so shiny that I feel like i've got skin like Edward from the movie twilight. I can use it over other products like eye shadow, blush, lip liner .. and things don't cake or flake.. but they do show through just fine. I have never had a single problem with this product or how it is packaged. And it is a product that I hope never goes away. Thank you for being the best part of my makeup routine!

I had been using a discontinued Maybelline mineral powder as my setting powder over my liquid foundation. I started many years ago, for extra coverage. Now that I'm over 40, I noticed my make up was looking cakey. While I don't have many fine lines or wrinkles, I think my skin just is just more dry and not as supple as it used to be, so the mineral powder was just too much on top of liquid foundation. So, as I did as a teen, I ordered my trusty cover girl loose powder. Growing up, my mom used all Clinique, but she always used cover girl translucent powder, as did I, so of course I immediately thought of it. It smelled just like I remember it, had the same fluffy little applicator. I have to admit, it gave me some serious nostalgia! The other day, I applied my foundation, dusted on a light layer of this magic powder, and went on about my day. When I stopped to look in a mirror a few hours later, low and behold, no cakey appearance, no creasing, it honestly looked like my bare skin, only even, and free of redness. This is a classic, and has been around forever for a reason.... because it works! I won't stray again!

This is the one loose face powder I keep coming back to; I've been using it for at least ten years! It has a tendency to settle into wrinkles by the end of the day and make your skin look a little dry, so I use primer and face mists to combat that. It's also slightly darker than you'd expect for a "light" color, but it blends fairly easily and doesn't have that obnoxious orange tint that some "light" powders have. I've noticed it matches my skin tone perfectly in the summer but I have to do a little more blending work with it during the winter. I would not recommend using the brush that comes with it. I use a large fluffy brush and dust this all over to set my foundation, and then put bronzer and blush on after I've applied this. It feels nice and sets my foundation well. I usually have to touch it up at the end of a work day as I get a little shiny, but that's more of a problem with my skin that with this powder. I've tried about a zillion loose setting powders over the years, and this is the only one that I buy over and over again. It's not perfect, but it's pretty darn close.

This was the first powder I started using to up my make-up game. It did exactly what I expected/wanted it to do. Helped soak up some oil and keep my make-up looking fresh longer. I have not had any troubles with it being "too messy" or it spilling easily or anything. Even when I close it and stick it in my make-up bag for travel, I open it up and the puff inside keeps anything from spilling out. I have had it for a while and hardly scratched the surface as far as amount goes, so I'm sure this will last me a good while. The puff it comes with has been easy to use and I have not had any clumping or issues. Though I imagine putting it on with a different applicator would work just as well. I also use it as a fresher-upper when having long days and my make-up needs a touch up. I just apply more power and maybe another layer of mascara and it does wonders. Takes away any oiliness that has appeared and I have had no trouble with reapplying looking or feeling heavy or caked on.

This has lasted me for soooo long, I rarely have to buy it, but it is perfect. Great sheerness that provides a hint of glow/tan for me, but not heavy or obvious. I do wish it was in something carryable that travels well, but oh well. It stays at home for the one time application in the mornings. Will not be fresh at the end of a workday, but it's designed to be light, and is. Very pretty. I buy the same brand all the time for years, changing only shades by season as needed. I usually buy pressed powder to put on after my foundation, but this time I thought I would try a loose powder. From the moment I opened it I knew I had made a mistake, because I could smell a slight scent to the powder, and I have extremely sensitive skin. I decided to try it anyway just because I didn't want to waste my money... and after about a week of using it I suddenly starting getting terrible breakouts. I thought maybe it was just a coincidence and continued using it for another week, but the breakouts just kept coming. So then I stopped using it, and now, a week later, the breakouts are almost all gone. It did create a nice matte finish to my skin, and it blended well with my skin tone (which doesn't usually happen as I am very fair), so if you have normal skin then I say go for it. But if your skin is at all sensitive, it is probably a bad idea.

Absolutely love this little Powder. I have been using it for a few years now and it does the job very well. As long as you moisturise, the powder does wonders for a simply barely there make up day.

Very happy to find that I can buy this product in the UK. Have been using it for many years, stocking up whenever I went to the States. No trip planned and I was running out, so decided to try online and here it is!!! It is by far, the best loose powder I have ever tried, and would recommend whole heartedly. On top of being a fantastic product, the speed with which it arrived was impressive. I think, because of the company name I was expecting it to be sent from the USA, but apparently not as it arrived within two days of ordering. Brilliant!
