Good for work, comfortable goot bed
They're Merrell, so, they're good quality. Sizes tend to run a little small, but not terribly. I went a half size over what I usually get for work and don't feel like I'm in clown shoes , so I have no complaints. Very comfortable for all day wear, I work in landscaping and they're very capable for what I do and don't leave my dogs barking at the end of the day. 4th pair of Merrells I've purchased and will buy again.

Great trekking shoe, especially considering cost.
I bought these for myself. They are lightweight, comfortable for hours, look good, and the price was great.

[Honest Review] Runs 1/2 size big, reasonably comfortable...
These definitely run big, so be sure to order 1/2 size down. They are reasonably comfortable but a little stiff in the sole. There is a another review I read, which holds truth, in that the topmost eyelet imparts some discomfort against your ankle. I think the tongue could prevent that in some cases. The bottoms are more aggressive than I prefer, unless you plan to hike in arctic conditions, then they are great for that. For me, this is more of an in-and-out suburban winter boot. Not artic hiking per se. However, I like Merrell products, and decided to keep them so far. I'll update in this changes.

Great for day hikes.
Comfy, and run a little small. Super grippy soles, with wide toe box, great for easy day hikes

My only complaint so far is they are difficult to put on. Iโll probably end up ripping the finger tab off if Iโm not careful.

These shoes fit true to size. If you are a 12 don't buy an 11.5. I did and they were a bit toight on my big toes and it took me a week or so to break them in. I only gave 4 stars as they suck to put on. Even with the laces loose they are hard to put on. I'm glad they have a big loop on the back to grab onto or I'd never get them on. I really NEED to get a shoe horn for them because I know I'm excessively wearing out the rear wall when grinding them on. Anyway that is the negative aspects out of the way. One of which is my own fault, but they didn't have a 12 left at the time. The pros, They are comfy af now broken in. That are light weight. They are water proof and have a high gusseted tongue so they can handle fairly deep puddles before water gets in in ernest. They grip great on loose gravel paths and trails, and handle muddy grass well too. The are great for ripped up roads too, like where I live on Salt Spring Island. They should last the winter no problem even with daily usage. Definitely worth the money.
