IQUNIX Magi96
I couldn’t be happier with my IQUNIX Magi96 low-profile mechanical keyboard. It’s easily one of the most premium keyboards I’ve used. The CNC aluminum unibody feels incredibly solid, heavy, and high-end, with zero flex and a clean, anodized black finish that really stands out on my desk. What surprised me most (in a good way) is the typing experience. Creamy keystrokes that feel and sound satisfying due to the Kailh Gold Red low-profile switches, the “Le-Tray” gasket mount, and plenty of foam pads. Feature-wise, it checks all the boxes: compact 96 layout without sacrificing functionality, excellent build quality, and a design that balances aesthetics with practicality. Whether for work, school, or gaming, it just feels dialed in especially with on-board memory and VIA configuration. If you’re looking for a low profile mechanical keyboard that blends premium materials, creamy typing, and thoughtful design, the Magi96 absolutely delivers. 5/5 without hesitation.

Good, but weird.
The keyboard looks sharp and functions well. No issues of broken keys or errant activations. The format is like a highly compressed numpad keyboard so finding some keys like the arrows is a bit awkward. It sounds great and true to form the total travel of the keys is nice and low. One of the best low profile keyboards on the market. Just be aware, the VIA support is a complete lie. As of when I received the device, VIA did not support this keyboard natively. No JSON file to even upload for this keyboard was on IQUNIX’s website. Other keyboards were listed by IQUNIX, just not this one. Fortunately, I did not need to reprogram any keys, but just know you won’t be able to with VIA. Also this keyboard is more expensive on Amazon than on their website with this one being the same price as the one with the added media controls.

The Perfect Low-Profile Keyboard
Coming from a Logitech MX Keys membrane keyboard, this has been a huge upgrade. I've been itching for a low-profile board for quite a while and I've had my eyes on Nuphy's Air96 for the longest time, but recently stumbled across the Magi96 and decided to give it a test drive (looks like they released the 75% and 96% versions at the end of August). I ordered the Nuphy Air96 V2 with Cowberry switches and the iQunix Magi96 to try side-by-side, and the overall quality, typing feel, and sound on the Magi96 just feels like a step up in every way compared to the Nuphy board IMHO. I can't speak to the Nuphy V3 series because they didn't have a 96% version available at the moment, but I can't imagine I could be any happier than I am with this iQunix board. It looks amazing and the typing feel has not given me anything more to desire. The one thing that was missing from this keyboard that I used all the time on the MX Keys was the lock button for when I walk away from my computer. I never use Page Up/Down, so I replaced those keys with a couple of the extra keycaps that iQunix includes in the box and used VIA to create a couple macros so I could lock my screen or take a screenshot with single button. There was a small learning curve with the software, but all-in-all fairly straightforward and cool to learn more about since I'm brand new to this realm. I've been using this keyboard for a little over a month and I don't have any complaints so far, but I have seen some not-so amazing things about iQunix's customer service with some issues that others have had. With that being said, I ordered mine on Amazon because they seemed to have a flexible return policy that they wouldn't have to approve if I ran into an issue within 30-days, so I'd probably order it from there if you were considering the Magi96. It’s been flawless for my purposes thus far and have no reason to believe that I will have failures any time soon.

Excellent keyboard marred by rattling spacebar
I really wanted to love this keyboard. The build quality is impressive - solid aluminum case, unique modern looking keycaps, and the switches have a beautiful marble like sound that's very satisfying to type on. Unfortunately, I had to return it due to a significant flaw: the spacebar rattles with a high-pitched sound that's completely out of place with the rest of the keys. I tried two different units hoping it was just my first one, but both had the same issue. The rattle was distracting enough that I couldn't overlook it despite everything else being so good. If you're not sensitive to spacebar rattle, this is otherwise a fantastic keyboard. But if sound consistency matters to you (and given how great the other keys sound, it should), be aware of this issue before purchasing.

Great looks, sound, and feel!
Bought this after I got a promotion at work and I switched to working remotely. This keyboard feels and sounds fantastic. I charged it fully when I got it late December. We’re in late February and this thing still has between 40-50% battery life. Keep in mind… I have turned off any backlight as I don’t really need it so that may help the battery a little extra. Also, I work your regular first shift 8 hours a day Monday through Friday. I have not installed any software or anything and it’s been just plug n play for me since I’m using my works laptop. Overall it has been fantastic for me! The one thing I’d say, it may take someone who isn’t really tech savvy or that doesn’t read instructions a little extra since there are commands to turn the keyboard off or to turn lights on, etc… it’s all through commands and also to switch to 2.4g mode. So it may not be plug and play for some, just keep that in mind.

HORRIBLE BATTERY LIFE
Smooth keys but HORRIBLE BATTERY LIFE. Unplugged only last for 6 or 7 hours.

Nearly unusable
I really want to love this keyboard, the build quality is amazing and it feels great, but it has an issue which makes it nearly unusable. Key presses will randomly get registered more than once, sometimes several times. I have talked with support and they advised updating the firmware, which I did, but the issue persists.

Amazing keyboard!
What a gorgeous keyboard with an amazing feel and sound! Feels super high quality and has been such a nice addition to my desk setup. My only complaint is the layout of the num pad. The zero can be very hard to hit, and I often miss and hit other keys. Been using it about a month now, and it's getting better, but still, if you use the num pad a lot, I might pass on this one.

Wanted to love this keyboard
I bought this keyboard as a bday present for my wife and she loves it. After a few weeks, one of the switches began to fail. I've emailed [email protected] multiple times over the course of many weeks and have received zero response from them. I am truly upset, they do not care about their customers and have lost one. Buyer beware.
