As everyone has made clear, it holds credit cards very tight. Almost 3 weeks in & mine seems to be breaking in a little, but cards are still a bit difficult to remove. No complaints with money clip. One thing I thought was a dumb move on manufacturers part, was inside one of the card slots is a tag sewn into the seem. This makes things alot worse while trying to fit cards into all slots. The tag will catch on the cards & bunch up in the corner of the slot making things even tighter in that slot, plus all slots surrounding it. I was able to get a scissors in there enough to cut most of the tag out, without cutting the stitching itself....it made a big difference....enough to fit an extra card in & without it bulging up the wallet overall. Why would they feel it necessary to do this is beyond my pay grade. Its not like you can even see what the tag says until you cut it out.... I believe it was the name & logo....but Jesus, how unnecessary, & in the dumbest place one could possibly think of. Especially when EVERYONE comments on how excessively tight it is to fit cards in the slots & also be able to retrieve them with relative ease when needed. Overall I am happy with this wallet so far.... I'll be interested to see if it holds together over the long haul or if the stitching gives out in a year & has to be replaced. I will update this review as time progresses. UPDATE: Its almost to March 27 2023 & its been holding up great. No ripping or tearing stitching holding strong. Still holds cards really tight, but they are easier to remove.

I originally purchased an Alpine Swiss Men's Money Clip over 10 years ago to make it easier to access frequently needed items, cards & currency, and had no idea it would last as long as it did. Even when I had decided it was time to be replaced, it still functioned well for its intended purpose. Only replaced it as it was showing some fraying from easily the 1000 or more times it had been in and out of my pockets. The Alpine Swiss logo on the outside looks sharp.

I have gone through about 6 of these, but this most recent one I bought (been about 13 months since my last one) is a major downgrade. The quality is the same but they did something to the size. I have 2 credit cards, 2 debit cards, my health insurance and dental card, my stubbs card and FSA card and my corporate card. Along with my license. I have carried these same things in every wallet before, and it always took a couple of weeks for it to loosen up a bit and then I would put an emergency check (in case of skynet) two $100 bills and a tooth pick in the middle section. Any other bills I put in the clip. I have loved these wallets for at least 6 years. I have even bought them for others and told them how they can get so much in it but it stays so slim. Well this one has different dimensions and different ways to enter the cards. And it DOES NOT WORK. The card holders are as stiff as when I got it 5 months ago. The middle section has a bend in it from not being able to hold all the cards and there for you cannot fit money or a check in the middle out of sight, it will peak through the top. I have to take out cards in the back to get the cards in the front pocket. Whatever they did, it is a disaster. Now if you are a true minmalist and can do with your license, 4 or maybe 5 total cards, and money in the clip, then you are good to go, but I need to carry more, and always could just fine in the old version. So I have started buying other wallets, looking for a replacement. Shame, the old version of this wallet was a perfect 10.

This is my 4th time purchasing this money clip since 2014. According to my purchasing history I have purchased a new clip every 3-5 years. I love the slim design and it keeps everything in order. It has a lot of pockets for everything you need to hold. Only issue is that you need to stretch it overtime and break it in if you have a lot of cards.
