Long, but thorough review for those concerned about heavy-metals. Summary: they test regularly for heavy metals, dissolves thoroughly, no grit and no after taste. Been taking collagen for about a year. Initially started with this product, then switched to Sports Research, then Alaya, and back again to Nature's Plus. With all the chatter about lead (heavy metals), microplastics etc., I felt doomed in my search for a clean - or at least cleaner - product. Via email, I contacted the companies about heavy metals and the only company to respond was Nature's Plus, which doesn't surprise me. Years ago, I managed a nutrition shop and Nature's Plus was (and is) a best selling product. Most moms I know still trust Nature's Plus for protein powders. As for quality and taste, there's no grit, nor after taste with this collagen, and it dissolves completely in hot coffee, but unlike the other brands, this does seem to re-coagulate as coffee cools (though still warm), it becomes a sort of "glop" that can be difficult to swallow if you're sensitive to textures. I really notice a difference after taking this for a couple weeks. Mostly in my hair. I was loosing a lot due to my glp-1. My hair is thicker and more resilient.

I buy this one over and over. I have used many collagens but i have stayed with this one since I started using it. If i am out of it my hair starts falling out and my skin starts looking dull and tired. I am 70. Helps with joint pain as well. very good.

Easy to take and good for joint relief.

Seemed to make my skin a bit thicker, which is a good thing for an oldie like me because thin skin wrinkles….anyway around month 5 i noticed some foam or bubbles in the toilet bowl after peeing, googled it, they say i could be taking in too much protein and it shows up in your urine, so now i am only taking Monday, Wed and Friday, only slight bubbles on those days. Thinking it still helps my facial skin taking the 3 days a week

On my 4th pot and feel good, my hair had been falling out and this seems to have helped but its not a quick fix to have to keep taking it.

I have been taking the suggested dose, one in my overnight oats breakfast, one in a banana style milkshake. It is easy to mix with milk, or, blend in a shake. No negative side effects, no bloating etc. I like the fact it has no unnecessary ingredients added and contains all the collagen types I need. It has no nasty odour or taste. I have noticed a benefit to my muscles recovery after working out. I hope it helps with my skin, hair, tissues etc too. I find it helps support my ageing body!

After being inspired by several TikTok influencers, I decided to incorporate Type II collagen into my routine. However, I couldn’t find a poultry-based collagen peptide on Amazon in my country. Consequently, I chose a this because this have 1.2.3.4.5.6.7 types of Collagen peptide all in it. This product that appears promising so far. Why did you choose this product over others?: Getting older and feeling in need of something to keep me going. Pleasant to take no smell or taste you can add it to drinks and food .. A bit pricey but all good things have a price and this is no more expensive than a lot of other brands

I’m really enjoying drinking this. It doesn’t have a taste or a smell, and I use it with only hot boiling water every morning. It’s only been 2 weeks but my hair has been growing so much! This is the best collagen that I’ve seen work so far. Love it!
