Love it! Easy to use

This is the corkscrew that every sommelier or server should have. I purchased multiple to ensure that I always have one around! Similar design to the Pulltaps corkscrew but engineered a bit better. I prefer Coutale's design on the double hinge. The foil cutter is longer and curved, and the worm glides through cork like butter. This is the best.

Found the workmanship to be half assed. Ordered 3 of these and all 3 had wobbly attachment to the actual corkscrew. The metal was scratched in various places, most likely due to the weak box it came in. All 3 smelled like they spent a year in a living in an automotive garage before being shipped to me, including black grease in the fine lines of the corkscrew. For $30 each I wasn't impressed! All 3 were returned and exchanged for Hi Coup wine keys, which so far have vastly exceeded the Coutale in craftsmanship, and lack of odor, while also being a 1/3 of the price!

Worked as expected. Easy to use, double hinged makes even the toughest corks easy.

This is a fantastic cork screw - high quality and beautiful design.

The arm one uses for leverage does not sit on the bottle, it slides down when you lift up on the larger arm. This makes for a very difficult tool.
