At this reasonable price point, it honestly has no right to be this amazing. I can wear this headset for 12+ hours a day between working at home and gaming and still be comfortable. Everyone I talk to says the microphone quality is great and never has issues. I am not an audiophile by any means, but the audio while playing video games, listening to music, and watching movies sounds more than good enough to me. Before purchasing this one, I had the previous edition (red) for over 5 years, and the only issue I had were the leather surface of the ear pads disintegrating. Everything else still worked perfectly (and they even still felt comfortable without the leather covering). I expect the same from this new headset, but given that it lasted so long for such a low price, I did not mind at all having to replace it. I don't need noise cancellation, but if you are looking for that, this does not cancel much noise at all. I game in the same room as another person and I can usually hear everything they say relatively clearly with the headset on. This was true even if I was listening to music at a relatively high volume. The little adjustment knob with volume adjustment of both speakers and microphone is handy, although it can sometimes be easy to accidentally press one of the buttons if your arm pushes it against the chair or table. I make sure to always have it in a position that it is unlikely to be pressed. It could probably be taped on the table if you don't intend on moving the cord around in a significant way.

If you're looking for USB Headphones... I've spent thousands of dollars on headphones over the years, and this is one of the most 'reliable' and 'adequate' sets I've ever had. I would not have expected it from USB - and have traditionally been a hardline advocate for 1/4in-to-source. Since 'the thing' started - I'm wearing headphones working from home 10-12 hours a day - and these get the job done incredibly well for the money. Super comfortable.. and 'light enough' to not cramp your neck after 12 hours straight. (cushions might get sweaty if not in an air-conditioned space) I've had Sony, Sennheiser, Denon, and all sounded great. My opinion: this is 95-98% the same sound quality of those higher end headphones. Only missing definition at the _really_ low end and lacks separation and clarity at the high end... which you wouldn't typically get without spending hundreds anyway. I've got lapel mics, ribon mics, condenser mics, and honestly - the mic in this is perfect for _VOICE_ applications and has 'decent-enough' noise cancelling that you wouldn't have to apply noise gates or additional filtering by default - I still do... but that's me. Great for gaming, streaming, voice-calls, video calls, etc. I've had more expensive sets where the headband or underlying support 'weaken / deform' after a few months use. These have held up for a 1.5 years far better than sets that cost six times as much. That said, I probably wouldn't give them more than a 3-5 year lifetime depending on use. If I have to find something I don't like? Would like to be able to turn-off the LEDs and can't. The in-line control feels flimsy. Like most cheaper 'braided' cables... this one 'binds up' a little if it gets twisted and is annoying if you want your cables 'OCD-straight' all the time. Cushions are that material that after a few years will probably start to 'flake' .. at which point.. new cushions or a new set. ... for the money... I just don't need another set right now... but I'd rather have 3 sets of these than 1 set of $100+ 'higher end' headphones into a sound card or amp. Would not have guessed.

These are really solid for the money. I have been using these models for about 6 years off and on for work, music etc., only replacing them when I break something or wear out a part. I will say that after a couple of years the padding can start to flake, but for $30 you're probably not going to do better. Sound quality is great, no compatibility issues, etc.

More than 5 years in and here I am wearing these headphones as I type this review and, honestly? It's been a good run. I'm surprised these have held up for as long as they have despite heavy use and occasional rough handling. Even as the faux leather is all but peeled away, the LEDs are hanging on for dear life, and the head padding is just begging to fall apart, the audio and mic quality has yet to diminish in the slightest. The braided cable looks like it could handle another 5-10 years of use and the remote control still functions as it should. The headset's connectivity is pretty solid. Honestly, your PC's USB port will probably fail long before the headset does. As for the design, it's sleek and cool, if a little cheap looking but it has blown past all expectations I had for the "budget gaming headset".

As a gamer, I am very picky about my headsets. One of my biggest hurdles however was needing a USB headset to use on my work PC. When I tried to use my other gaming headsets I just couldn't make the PC see the USB adapter I needed to turn it from the jack to USB. People have mentioned a few times about Windows 10 and it was plug and play with this headset. I instantly was able to use Adobe Connect, Skype for Business and other chat programs. I was told I sounded crystal clear and I hear perfectly as well. The ability to mute speakers or just yourself is very handy in a work capacity. I wear glasses and the headset is comfortable and I can honestly say I notice no discomfort or my glasses smashing against my face. The headset is comfortable to wear through a typical 8 hour shift. I cannot hear outside noise and no one can detect anything but my voice through them. The headset feels sturdy and the cord is braided so I have confidence I will be buying more for family members.

Sades makes the best noise-cancelling headset and microphone combination. They last for MANY YEARS, they have an easy to use mute button / volume control attached on the very strong headset cord. The headband is very durable (you can toss the headset, sit on it, and it is stretchy so you WILL NOT BREAK EVER when you put them on or take them off. The noise cancelling feature handily blocks out external sound. They are comfortable for long-day use without irritating your head or ears. The price is right. I think in the past 10 years they may have increased the price $4. DO BE AWARE TO BUY ACCORDING TO YOUR NEEDS. The USB connector is for COMPUTERS, and the audio 'plug' (single old school plug) only works on gaming platforms like Xbox or Playstation.

First off, the sound quality on this thing is all right. Way better than a lot of other gaming headsets out there. This is one of the first ones I could really hear a lot of detail out of, especially compared to other headsets of this price range. Sub bass especially.. Made my head shake the first time I listened to something really boomy On top of it. this thing is built Well. Really well, it's sturdy, made out of a nice hard plastic, and it'll last longer than, again, a lot of other headsets for this price! However, my nice words end here Let's start with the obvious. these are huge headphones, way too big. They barely fit on my own head, just about when I scrunch them up all the way, and I've heard many other complaints about them just being TOO Big for people's heads. On top of that the cable is incompetent. The cable itself is well made, if a bit cheap with the braiding fabric, but like most headphones, this has a small controller that you can mute, adjust volume, and turn off the mic with. It's over 2 feet away from the headphones. when you're sitting this thing will legitimately go past your knees, and you will infuriatingly find yourself sitting on it and accidentally pressing it with your thigh or foot if you're sitting crisis cross. Who let this happen? Even worse is that the drivers that come with this turn an already pretty boomy set of headphones into something that cancels out everything but the bass. If you listen to music with the driver for this thing (The disc that comes with it) Intalled, it will quite literally turn down the volume of all other instruments whenever there's a drum hit. Im not exaggerating, its sickening. Not to mention, these things are incredibly sensitive. I had to install a third party tool to turn down the Decibels to -20 to even get this to sound acceptable. It's blaringly loud, even on a vol level of 10 in windows. the Mic, at the very least, is well made, and Honestly sounds good. I use it for recordings In videos, its exceptional for what you're paying for it. I can't recommend this for that cable alone, plus the sensitivity. I like everything else about this headset but they missed the mark with that cable issue.. it's just outright incompetently designed in that respect and it makes these so.. So hard to tolerate.

Absolutely love it! Comfortable on the ear, and sound quality is great! Would like the microphone to be on the right side and according to instructions, it did come that way. Was not that way when received, can only be on the left. Because it is such a great product and looks super cool and fancy, I am managing. Thank you again!

A USB connection makes it really easy for the laptop/PC to detect the mic, with utmost clarity. This headphone provides. Also, because the connection is USB, there's no audio loss.
