fantastic rails easy to install and they work!
I purchased these bars to for my 2015 JGC. They work perfectly and everything you need including the wrench is included in the box. First off they are a great looking set of bars and very easy to install. They are aerodynamic and function as intended but the directions are a little weak so let me straighten it out and make your install even easier. First separate the front bar from the back bar. That’s easy they are clearly marked. Next flip them upside down loosen the inside screw, only two to three turns this screw allows the legs to move to length or shorten the distance. Then turn the outside screw, the one closest to the edge all the way out until you only see 2 or 3 threads. Dont go past that. Now flip them over and position first the left then the right side in the side rails. Doesn’t matter the order but position BOTH sides before you tighten anything. Once both sides are seated in the rails then tighten the inside screw on BOTH sides first. This keeps the legs in place. Then finally tighten the outside screw on one side then the other. IF you do it this way it’s like a 15 min install. Easy peasy. Last step you slide the little rubber rail back in place. That’s it. Now you can mount whatever you want on the rails. I put kayak saddles on mine also for anyone wondering. I have used the very expensive rails from companies starting in Y or T and these rails are every bit as impressive as those at 1/3 the price. I love these rails.

"Powder coat" finish not very good.
These arrived in a box without much padding. My initial look was that they appeared to be of good quality, but then I took a closer look. The "powder coat" finish was chipped, allowing the metal underneath to show. Given the price, this is not something that makes me want to return them since I can touch up the finish. However, it probably shows that the metal was not adequately cleaned and prepared before the coating was applied. Shipping should not have damaged a good quality powder coat finish. Second thing is that the metal parts are aluminum, so the finish is not quite as critical as it would be for steel parts. I'm glad that I looked and chose this one for that reason. The product description at the top is accurate. However, the product description farther down the page gave me cause for concern because it described the metal as "powder coated steel." Whoever proofread the page missed that one. The brackets fit the crossbars on our Nissan Frontier just fine. We have a sit-in kayak, so I put it up on the rack upside-down so rain would not get in. It works just as well this way. Perhaps the feature I find most annoying is the strap. It is good quality and I like it. However, when run around the kayak, running across underneath means the strap vibrates when driving down the road. I tried looping it around the crossbar on the way around and that helped. I have not tried putting a twist in it on the bottom side, but I will try that also and see which way works best. Bottom line: Even with the finish flaws, I am pleased with this product and I think I can recommend it as a product to be considered when purchasing a kayak/canoe/paddleboard rack.

Good kayak support
These can also be mounted on a trailer with crossbars to be used instead of the roof of a vehicle. This is particularly useful for saving your back of any pain for a day on the water. While the instructions are not explicitly provided, it is relatively straightforward to determine how to assemble and use the product.

Kayak Carrying Excellence
This kayak rack was quite affordable and works great on top of my SUV. It got me all through Summer 2025 and I'll be using it again this spring and summer. My kayak didn't even budge while on the roof, and the racks themselves are quite sturdy.

Easy to install, hard to keep in place
I've had this kayak saddle for a few weeks now, I use it for my 75lb kayak of which it does well. It took maybe 30 minutes to install then another 10 to adjust to fit the kayak. After the first trip out I found that even though I had tightened the brackets the saddle comes with down to the point they were bending a little, the saddle mounts would still slide a little, enough to cause the kayak to drop between them when pulled to the side. I ended up tightening the bolts down as far as they could physically be turned without a wrench or pliers and so far they still slowly slide out of place, usually when loading and unloading the kayak. The sliding is small enough now to where it is still safe to use. ALSO, if you get this mount system don't bother with the tie downs that come with it. I tried to use them, but they were too short to reach across to the other side of the kayak so I bought 20ft tie downs instead which work much better.-for reference the kayak is a lifetime Teton pro 116

Fit a 2016 Honda CRV.
Not my first attempt to find kayak saddles that would fit onto the Honda CRV crossbars, but the only one that DID fit. The saddles have a rubberized part that sits between the saddle and the top of the bar. This does not want to slip along the bar, keeping the kayak right where you want it, Even with the hold downs all loosened, it holds on, but will move when you push it, a good feature. It's set into the top clamp instead of just laying on the top of the bar, so it is held firmly with the top clamp The bottom of the clamp is coated so it doesn't want to slip either. The tighten down knobs are big enough to be able to easily use, but not so big as to get in the way of the tie down straps. The straps themselves have a piece of material at the buckle that protects the car surface from being scratched by the buckle. The saddles themselves where they support the kayak are also rubber and flex to the shape of the kayak. My kayak is wider in the middle than in the front and I could position each saddle to give maximum distributed support. With J-bars you don't have that option as my friends show me, but they use the J-bars so they can put two kayaks on their vehicle. I have just the one. I had planned on using a J-bar rack for the kayak. With a J-bar you need to pick the entire kayak up, over your head and put it down on the J-bars. With the saddles you can leave the back end on the ground and lift the front end up onto the CRV. A hint I found online is to get a small rubberised rug and put it on the vehicle and then put the front of the kayak onto the rug. This protects the vehicle but more importantly you can more easily slide the kayak onto the saddles . This makes it an easy one person job to get the kayak on or off the vehicle. The goods came packaged like a mummy, very protected.

Don’t waste your money
I bought the Onefeng Sports 135LB Kayak Saddle expecting it to be durable, but after just 1 year of use, the condition is terrible. As you can see in the photo, the material has completely deteriorated. The main support piece is cracked and breaking apart, and the plastic feels cheap and brittle, definitely not built to handle real use or outdoor exposure. This isn’t normal wear and tear. A kayak saddle should easily withstand weight, sun, and weather, but this one clearly cannot. It failed way sooner than it should have. Honestly, this ends up being a waste of money because you’ll have to replace it much sooner than expected. I would not recommend this product at all if you’re looking for something reliable or long-lasting.

Supports polyvalent
Très polyvalent, vont très bien sur les barres larges qui ont besoin de 4 po entre les vis comme les barres transversales RealTruck.

Seems well made
I've only used these once so far, but they felt very well made and held my kayak in place very nicely. Only time will tell on their durability.
