Keeps Coffee Hot for Hours, Goldilocks approved
The KEPWAM 16oz Smart Heated Coffee Mug does a great job of keeping a hot cup of coffee at your desired heat level for several hours. With three temperature settings to choose from (warm – 113°F, hot – 131°F, and piping – 149°F), one is bound to be “just right” for you (not too hot, not too cool)! The cup itself is very attractive and there are several color options available. Again, you should be able to find a color that is “just right” for your taste. I have found the battery life ample to get me through my morning routine, with the cup maintaining the mid-level temperature for about 4 hours on a full charge. There is also an option to keep the cup on the charger plate while in use, which will keep the charge all day long. Of course, that defeats the “portability” benefit of a self-powered heated cup. I have been using a warming plate for years, but have had to sacrifice the ability to take my coffee with me to another room and keep it hot. So, whether you use the portability feature or fixed charger plate option, one is bound to be “just right” for you! They do list the “capacity” as 16 oz. While this is, technically, a true statement, 16oz fills the cup to the very tip-top of lip (see photo). Of course, a cup this full cannot be moved without spillage, so the “usable” capacity is more in the 14 oz. range. Also, they similarly list the capacity as 14 oz with the lid attached. Again, this is an overflow level. The “usable” capacity with the lid is more like 13 oz. (see photo). Other key things to note: the cup cannot be put into a microwave oven, nor can it go into the dishwasher (hand wash only, I wouldn’t recommend submerging, although a quick dip in soapy water and a gentle rinse should be OK). Even though it comes with a lid for travel, note that this cup most likely will not fit into a car’s standard cup holder. The handle is such that the cup cannot nestle down inside the cup holder. But for moving from room to room, the lid can be a handy plus for this cup. Overall, this is a great cup that does keep a beverage at a good drinking temperature for several hours. 5 STARS AND I DO RECOMMEND THIS ITEM I write honest reviews based on real life experience with each item to help others make informed purchases. I read reviews too, and appreciate how helpful they can be. I hope that you find this review helpful!

Do NOT buy this product
Don’t buy it. It was washed by hand by my self and After only two months does not work anymore. Support is unreachable, impossible to talk to someone to tell my problem, talk to the seller is impossible. Please don’t waste your money with this mug .

Lasted less than 3 months and then completely died; can’t contact company.
ANOTHER UPDATE The mug completely died right after I wrote the last update (that same day) and won’t turn on at all (I suspect tea leaked inside & fried it), so now it’s just a very expensive plain mug. Still haven’t heard back from the company and no way else to contact them, so strongly recommend NOT getting this mug if you want one that works for more than about 80 days. UPDATE - LESS THAN 3 MONTHS LATER Shortly after purchasing the mug, the plastic charger warped a little bit, which wasn’t too bad as it still worked, but was somewhat worrying. And now - the battery life is very poor. Sometimes the mug won’t turn on at all. Right now it’s sitting on the charger, not charging, or keeping the drink warm - it’s basically just acting as a plain mug. In addition, and most worrying of all, when it does turn on, liquid seems to leak from the bottom where the metal charging ring are. It’s *not* condensation - it’s the drink. Amazon refers to the company for warranty information, but the company does not exist online & I can’t find any way to contact them (much less look up warranty information). I’ve sent an inquiry via Amazon but haven’t heard anything back yet, either from Amazon or the seller/manufacturer. Based on this, I strongly recommend against buying this mug. =========== This mug is great! There are a few minor issues but they are not big enough (to me) to deduct a whole star. I was originally gifted an Ember mug, which I loved. It did a fantastic job keeping my tea hot so that I actually finished drinking it instead of throwing away cold tea. But it was very easily scratched when I used a spoon to mix the sugar. I decided to get another mug and found various options on Amazon. I selected the Kepwarm based on the reviews and also the fact that it was half the price of the Ember mug. When it arrived, I was surprised at how big it was, and wasn't sure if it was too big - but after using it, I love the size. The Ember was too small (when I used the Keurig, the Ember mug was filled to the brim which made carrying it back to my desk difficult). The controls on the Kepwarm mug are easy to use and right on the side of the mug. (The Ember mug off/on switch is on the bottom, which makes it difficult if there is any liquid in the mug, and it was very hard to press, possibly because I had to press it while keeping the mug upright. In addition, the mug also sensed when there was liquid in it, even if I was just soaking the mug, so sometimes, even when I turned it off, the mug turned back on and drained the battery.) The Ember mug connects to an app to select the temperature, but I found the Kepwarm system (right on the mug itself) much easier to use. The 2 main drawbacks to the Kepwarm mug are (1) the lid doesn't have a ventilation hole, so can be difficult to use, and (2) the handle is fairly skinny and not as comfortable to hold. But they are both VERY minor considerations (the handle could be more comfortable if it was a little thicker, but it's not necessarily UNcomfortable... and I just don't bother with the lid because the mug keeps the drink warm anyway). So I heartily recommend this mug!
