Excellent sound quality and best ANC of any headphones
I love these Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones. I used these on an international trip and the active noise canceling (ANC) was amazing. It is truly the best. I also liked that I could toggle between ANC and "Aware Mode" with just one tap of a button so I could hear announcements or quickly speak to people at the airport when needed. The ANC is the best I've had on any headphones. It was so quiet on the plan with these headphones. It created a quiet sanctuary and blocked out any jet engine noise or chatter going on around me. This allowed me to really enjoy watching movies with them because it made the spatial surround sound really stand out. This allows you to hear the sounds the way the filmmakers intended. This Cinema Mode allows you to hear sounds spatially (sounds that are far off in the distance sound far out in the distance; sounds that are behind you sound like they are coming from behind you). The surround sound is so well executed and it's hard to believe this quality of sound is coming from headphones. The comfort of these (and all Bose headphones) are the best I've ever worn. They are light and the cups are soft and comfortable. The band does not feel tight even on my husband's ridiculously large head. The battery lasted my entire 30 hour flight (15 hours each way) without charging. Charging is fast with USB-C. It paired seamlessly with my phone and laptop. It has its own app if you want to refine the sound but works perfectly without any adjustments. Volume control is simple: just slide your finger along the raised groove on the right cup. When you turn your headphones on, it tells you the status of the battery so you'l always know how full it is. The ear cups are replaceable. I love that it comes with its own zippered, hard case (truly a nice touch given that so many products are cutting corners and making once included accessories an option to purchase). And can we talk about how luxe these headphones look? They will definitely elevate your style. The gold and black are classic and timeless.

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Bluetooth Headphones (2nd Gen) take sound and comfort to the next level.
The Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra headphones are a great mix of comfort, quality, and audio performance. They were definitely designed for comfort in mind as I've used these for a good portion of my day. The ear cushions are super soft and lightweight, and the clamping pressure is just right; secure without being too tight. Whether you're working out, walking around the house, or relaxing on the couch, they stay in place and never feel bulky or hot on your ears. Sound quality and the clarity is outstanding, with Bose's new immersive audio mode giving music a rich, spacious feel. Every note comes through clean and full. Bose has tech that automatically adjusts the sound to your ears and environment. Noise cancelation is also top-tier and easily blocks out background noise. If you still want to hear what's going on around you, the aware mode lets in just the right amount of outside sound without having to take your headphones off to hear. Battery life has been excellent with up to 24hrs of listening time before needing to recharge and the Bluetooth 5.3 connection is rock solid. The controls are simple and intuitive, with touch gestures that respond instantly. Use a simple swipe up or down on the right ear of the cups volume control strip to adjust the volume level to your liking. Didn't experience any drops and I connected these to multiple devices when testing them out. Over all, these headphones deliver and excel across every component you can measure. They make workouts more enjoyable and downtime more peaceful. If you have never tried Bose before, this is the model that will show you why the brand has such a loyal following. Absolutely worth the price.

Wow! What an Audio Experience
I love the natural audio quality, bass and the long life of Bose Products. My previous purchase of Bose Ultra Earbuds is my go to device for long walks and it keeps me engaged. The Bose Ultra Headphone 2nd Gen will be my go to device at home, work and travel. What I liked: 1) Quick start up (less than 1 min) from the time I opened the box as I already had Bose App 2) You can add multiple sources (like phones, Laptop etc) to this headphone and it switches seamlessly. 3) I have tested the headphone across my 1800 sq ft home during my Laptop call and it worked without any distortion on my end or the recipients. 4) This headphone also makes you hear your voice clearly when on calls which is noise cancelled voice of your own. 5) As expected Bose Headphones are light weight and comfortable so you will forget that you have anything over your ears after wearing it for hours. Also the length adjustment as per your head size is so smooth which I have never experienced in any other headphone. 6) The audio quality (including spatial audio) is crystal clear and I prefer the bass boost mode for listening to songs. It has the following modes: Aware (you can hear surroundings), Quiet (Noise Cancelled), Immersion (still and motion which is the best feature as you get the feeling that the audio is coming from one end of the room or all around you and it stays there no matter where you move in the room). 6) I see that there is a new Movie mode which I have not tested yet however this must be for people who dont want to disturb others and would like to listen to the TV/Projector Audio over headphone. 7) The entire headphone looks premium and soft over the head and comes with USB C charger cable only along with audio cable to connect to the audio port in flight or for people who have old devices/phones which comes with physical headphone jack 8) The headphone has 2 buttons on the right cup, 1 for navigating through the different modes and one for volume which is customizable from the app if you want to make it Room for Improvement 1) Currently there are fixed customization like Bass Boost, Treble Boost etc. I wish we could update as per our need instead of going with fixed modes. 2) I wish the case was rechargeable like the way we recharge earbuds

Amazing sound and comfort while looking fantastic!
Aptly named Quiet Comfort. These are very light weight and super comfortable! The sound quality and noise cancelation exceeds my expectations. I put these on with nothing playing and suddenly even the most faint nuisance noises are gone - like a vacation for my ears and mind. I really love the rich look of the White Smoke and chrome version and the quality feel of the whole device. I learned a lot about how to maximize these amazing headphones (your sound system is only as good as its weakest link). 1. iPhones and iPads don’t put out the highest quality music through their Bluetooth connections. So you can connect via the included usb-c cable OR you get this little wizard of a sound upgrade to AptX Adaptive high bit-rate music for these incredible cans. - Questyle QCC Dongle Pro [MFi Certified] USB-C Bluetooth Audio Adapter with LDAC,aptX Lossless&aptX-Adaptive,Low Latency Bluetooth 5.4 Dongle. 2. I like waring these for hours but almost all of the over ear headphones use some sort of unbreathable material (partly for ware and partly for ANC quality), so I added these and now I can ware the Bose QC Ultra 2s for hours: Easy installation and look fantastic on the QCs (very little impact on ANC). - WC Freeze QC Ultra – Cooling Gel Replacement Earpads 3. If you have some legacy audio gear like I do (6-cd changer, USB turntable, cassette player) that you run through a nice amplifier, you might want to add this to allow output from those to your headphones anywhere in the home. This allows for AptX AD (adaptive) for high quality audio transmission over a big range. - 1Mii B06TX+ Long Range Bluetooth 5.2 Transmitter for TV/PC/Projector to 2 Wireless Headphones/Speakers 4. Lastly, these are beautiful headphones and I want to both have them handy and visible. This works and make connecting a charging cable pretty simple. - New bee Headphone Stand Headset Holder Earphone Stand with Aluminum Supporting Bar.

Very good ANC. Comfortable. Fix the creaking Bose!!!
Everybody else will have covered what you want to know about sound and features. I’m here to talk about the creaking. It happens when you do things like: move your jaw, tilt your head, breathe, etc. you know, trivial things humans rarely do. It’s really only apparent because the ANC does quite well at blocking outside noise. My headphones have a November of 2025 manufacture date but look online, it’s not a new complaint. Inside the right ear cup there’s a black wire exiting the shell into the hinge, this wire connects the two ear cups. This wire has a black bushing around it with a small silver retaining ring, the retaining ring rubs on the plastic housing of the ear cup and makes a creak. If you’re out in the world or have ANC off or are listening to loud cacophonies of noise intentionally, you’ll probably never hear it. If you like basking in silence while listening to calm music and the ringing in your own ears, it’s pretty irritating. The fix is simple, as long as you’re fine with opening up expensive headphones and doing minor noodling. 4 screws, one under the cloth in a recessed hole, be gentle with the delicate ribbon cables and don’t tug them. Spot that silver retaining ring slightly above the circuit board with the wire going through the shell of the ear cup, take a tiny flat head and tweak the “ears” of the retaining ring away from the shell of the ear cup so they don’t rub any more. That should be it, the ring doesn’t need much adjustment. Just enough that it’s not rubbing. Otherwise: they pair great, work well with iOS, noise cancel almost as well as good fitting earplugs (certain frequencies like compressed air aren’t great but I’ve found that’s the case with all the ANC I’ve tried), battery life is good, AND THEY DON’T TURN OFF IF YOU FALL ASLEEP AND STOP MOVING LIKE THE QC ULTRA EARBUDS BOSE!!! Overall, unless the shells themselves were insulated (passive isolation) or someone nails some of the troublesome ANC frequencies, I don’t expect there are many better noise cancelling products. I know I’ve tried probably a dozen that perform worse. My Heavys headphones MIGHT have slightly more comfortable ear cups but these aren’t bad at all (I also took those apart and removed the protruding tweeters that stab you in the head if there’s pressure against the side of the ear cups. I will take expensive s*** apart if it irritates me and I deign to do so!). I have a coworker who has owned a pair of the original QC ULTRAS for years and these should be a 5 star product if you don’t have to partially disassemble them to fix a noise issue. Seriously Bose, come on; I’ve got moderate hearing damage in both ears. If I can hear the noise, your QA and product testing pools need some gentle slaps. If you start turning out bad products with weak QC, you’re toast. Bump the price per unit, QC them better, and keep trucking. If you’re positioned as a “luxury good”, act like it; people are coming for your market share if you don’t. I can pay for quality, sustainability, and repairability, otherwise I’ve got several pairs $35 earbuds and cheap headphones that are holding up pretty good.

Apple music lossless with wired connect = audiophile quality sound!
I owned quite a few headphones in my life in the $300–$600 price range. These are the best by far. The sound quality is superb. The bass is very deep and “even frequency response” without being overwhelming, and the built-in equalizer lets you fine-tune the response. I reduce the bass by 2 dB (or whatever the units are) and keep the rest flat. They look great, the ear pads and headband leather are very soft and comfortable, and they’re light. The mids and highs are very natural and clean, and the soundstage and imaging are excellent. They sound good at both loud and quiet volumes. I listen to a variety of music from instrumental to dubstep to classical, and they’re great for everything. No need for a good headphone amplifier like with some of my other headphones – they sound great as-is. The only tiny minus for me is the volume control – it’s not as precise as the rotating knob on the Apple AirPods Max. I think even buttons would be better, but it’s a very minor complaint. Noise canceling is also great – I keep it on even at home so nothing distracts me from the music. Super happy with this purchase. I’d give it 6 stars if I could – not a lot of products impress me this much!

Wowza. Aside from the sound, you're paying for the noise cancellation & immersive audio
I went into testing this with a critical mindset and I was impressed. I'll use real life scenarios instead of technical audiophile terms because I am not an audiophile. I just love music and listening to music all day. PROS: 1. Noise cancellation: it was raining pretty hard today and it canceled out all of the rain noise from my open window. I believe the ANC is what sets this one apart from the competitors. 2. The multi-function buttons take a little time getting used to, but it's well complemented with a mobile app and it's very easy to use 3. Immersive audio: I tried this out with guitar-based songs and the Cinema option for movies. Wowza. "Immersive" basically brings more depth into the audio and you'll know what I mean when you watch movies with the Cinema option. The immerse audio doesn't fit well for all types of music, however. 4. Sound: Bose's focus is on the sound, so excellence was expected and they delivered. The bass is rich and heavy while the highs are crisp. I'm sure you've heard this one before. Some sound adjustments will be needed in the mobile app to make this happen. 5. I don't have a big head and it's very light to wear and it doesn't make me tired after wearing it for very long. 6. Beautiful to look at and feel. 7. When you take off the headphones the music stops or YouTube stops playing the music. When you put it back on the music starts again. Wowza. My favorite music samples for a sound test: Carpenters "This Masquerade" & Metallica "Nothing else Matters" CONS: 2 buttons: The buttons are multi-function and the voiume adjustment is a touch-bar instead of buttons. The non-techie might be scared of this at first, but the mobile app makes up for it. The touch-bar volume control works very well, however. Price: It's very expensive at almost $500 since there are more affordable options out there which offer great sound. Color options: The color options offered might turn off some users like myself, so I just went with black. In summary, a very nice upgrade from my Bose QC series II headphones. I have yet to use this for calls, but my purpose wasn't making phone calls with $500 headphones. It was for listening to music and watching movies.

More comfortable than Apple Sony Or Sennheiser
So i was split between getting these Bose or the Sennheiser HDB630. And that decision is based on what will you use these headphones for. I ultimagely bought these because: they were on sale, and I wanted something I could wear all day with out fatigue. These are so comfy and light I forget I have them on, the Sennheiserare heavier and are warmer making your ears hotter. All the hundreds of Reddit reviews and youtube reweiws have your answers if you're on the fence about sound quality the sennheiser sound way better, but less comforable and the noise cancleation doesnt come close to these Bose That being said I needed I can wear All day while at work with good noice cancleing so I can focus. The sound on these headphones aren't bad by any means i'm specifcally comparing to the best sounding noice canceling headphones available which are teh seinhezers. Between these and the Sony's I feel its a little closer but these are way more comforatable the competeing Sony's which clamp tighter. So if you travel alot and prefer the best noise cancleing and comforable headphones, these are them. As far as Apple airpods Max goes, those are less comfortable than this and sound okay. The trick to getting these to sound better is by dropping the EQ bass -3 or -4 because the bass in these headphones are a bit muddy, There is sub-bass in these headphones that can be heard even with -3 on the bass eq. The Good: super comfy, wear all day, I charge these 1-2 times a week only because they turn off to save battery as soon as you take them off your head. They have the emmersion setting that's simalar to the way apple does it and it sounds really good (not to many people talk about this in reviews) I don't use it all the time for specific music and songs it works really well, you can buy the same USB dongle just like you can with the Sennheiser for losless playback or USB from headphone into computer or Phone also noticably better, clearer and louder than bluetooth (always better to go wired than bluetooth regardless of which headphone), They fold up small for trave. the case is nice, The beigh/tan color is fire (i have so many black headpohnes) this is nice for a change, and i feel fancy. Connection between my iphone, macbook, and desktop is pretty seemless, the headphones know which ones you're using and switch automatically, There is EQ but its' pretty basic. price is good compared to HDB630, I got this on sale on Amazon as it will do time to time. Again Sound is really good and Sub Bass is there, I listen to a lot of House, detroit Techno, tech house, Breaks, Bass, Jazz, Rock, hip hop, soul, disco etc.. The bad: The bass is there, its just a little muddy its recommended by most reviews to turn the bass down in the eq so you can turn the volume up more to hear more definitino in the bass, occadionally there are randomm discoonnects, but i notice this more when I'm tyrin got dance with them and i'm moving, it will pause the music. not always not enough to make me frustrated, Ther's a slight learning curve to knowing how the headphones priortizes chats/calls etc on one device if you're trying to listen ot another device. Recommendation: All that being said you have to decide if you just want to hear the best quality audio from your music for a couple hours than go for HDB630. If you want to or need to wear headphones around casually all day for work and want to forget you're wearing headphones or if you're neruodivergent then go for these Boses, These Bose headphones sound arguably better than the Airpod Max's, It only falls short of the HDB630 when comparing to those.

It’s all in the name!
I researched a lot of headphones before choosing the QC Gen 2. I had an older version of Sony’s flagship before so I felt these ones needed to be great. After using then consistently for several months I can say they are. What makes them great is in the name. Quiet- yes noise cancelling is great without hiss, not quite as quiet as Sony, but I would say that the way it feels is more natural. Pass through is superior, I can use these for conference calls and hear myself perfectly and voices are crisp and clear. Comfort- I can use these for hours and even fall asleep with them on…nuff said. Sound- these sound great out of the box and the 3 band EQ is more than enough to perfect them. It’s hard to describe this sound, its precise and warm, offering a satisfying and immersive experience in every genre. Most important is that it’s not fatiguing, allowing longer term playback and enjoyment. Price- seems high, but the quality is worth it.

Eccellente cuffia
Quindi esperienza musicale unica quanto a polifonia.

Bose QuietComfort Ulta 2nd gen headphones
I've tried other headphones and earphones but nothing comes close to upstaging these Bose QuietComfort Ultra(2nd Gen) headphones for sound quality, noise cancellation, battery life, connectivity or comfort over long listening times. I absolutely love listening to my classical, opera and all other music through these headphones. Great value on the sale.
