ZyXEL was making reliable analog modems when I was a kid. Fast forward to today. For a few sundry reasons I needed a new home office switch, so when I noticed they were still in business manufacturing network hardware, I decided to take a chance on this one. It didn't disappoint. VLAN setup was a snap, performance & monitoring features are great, and the free ZON utility is a nice small app to help manage the switch. Its small, unobtrusive profile allows for placement pretty much anywhere. I look forward to an opportunity to purchase more of their products in the future.

Pros: Good value and super easy to get setup. Cons: Power cable doesn't lock in like some other models. I have unplugged it a few times by accident.

I had no problems setting up for trunking... All the docs I could found were not accurate. The administration network address was not as stated, but provided by dhcp from my main router. So, get it from there. It does not show up on the windows netwrork browser. Other than that no gotchya's for installing. Been using it for about 3 weeks. No issues. Did not contact or need Tech Support.

I purchased this Zyxel router strictly for wired connections, but the experience has been quite disappointing. Even though it should be more stable than WiFi, the connection frequently drops and the actual speed is much lower than expected. Several times, the unit froze and required a restart to work again, which is very frustrating, especially when using it for work or online gaming. The build feels cheap and does not inspire confidence in its durability. In conclusion, it works at a very basic level, but it is not reliable for continuous use. I would not recommend it if you need stability and solid performance.
