Rick and Morty vs. Dungeons & Dragons

The media could not be loaded.  This is the book only and not the entire set.I made this mistake, now I need to go get the set. I was able to connect d&d Beyond app to the Rick and morty d&d game but there are still things missing like the monster guide, the dm insider, the dice set, the campaign and everything that is needed to play the game. This is just the comic book. It’s still fun to read, but it’s best just to get the set.However if you are needing a replacement of the original book (that comes in the set.) then this is perfect. Very nicely done and put together. There are some really nice art work at the back that will help players visualize what they are going through/facing.The bind of the book creased very easily after handling very minimally. You need to bend the pages back a bit to fully read the modifiers on the character sheets. However, you can look them up online to protect the book. Seasonal D&D’ers may find this a bit boring but it’s worth getting into with players you’re easing into the D&D world. I’m using his likeness of Rick and morty to blend into the introduction of D&D.

I very much enjoy both Rick and Morty and D&D, and this comic hits a lot of the right buttons. The art is great. Having all the alternate covers (which this 4 part comic has a ton of alternates) and character stat sheets included is greatly appreciated. My only issue is some characterization of Rick that doesn't feel very true to his character, but even that doesn't feel like enough to knock off a star. Would definitely continue reading if they ever decided to continue with this crossover.

Big fan of Rick and Morty and Patrick Rothfuss so I got all the individuals when they came out and STILL got the trade. Really amazing story as well as beautiful artwork. Some of the variant covers are amazing. Worthwhile addition for anyone even hesitating because it's just so good.

Great writing, art, and comedy overall but there is one page in particular that is worth reading the whole comic for alone. I cried at reading such an amazingly accurate, and personal to me, description of love and human condition that came up. Everyone should read that page.

This way bought and sold as a "new" product. It definitely is not. Corners were creased and the whole back is creased down the center. Was definitely a used book.

Son is a big Mick and Morty fan. He loves reading this.

Entertaining and lots of references for D&D fans. Characters are understandable even if you don't watch the show. Plus bonus points for portraying Rick as he is. An arrogant jerk that can't comprehend anyone else could be correct.

Being a "mini series", I wasn't expecting too much, but I really liked this. I *do* like RPG and the D&D genre, so that helps. If you're not into that, this is should still be a solid 4-star series for you. If you like D&D, you'll likely agree with me on the 5-star rating I gave it.

Hilarious. Definitely not for children due to some of the content, but that's to be expected for Rick & Morty. Was an xmas gift for my hubby, I'll be reading it next. Worth the money. Well made graphic novel. Can't wait for the next one.
