The StayDry Systems Collapsible Water Dam is a 72-inch long, 1.25-inch high rubber shower threshold designed to prevent water escape in roll-in and barrier-free showers. Featuring a textured finish and peel-and-stick adhesive, itโs easy to install on tile or fiberglass surfaces. Its collapsible design allows it to compress under pressure and rebound, making it ideal for ADA-compliant showers and wheelchair accessibility. The product includes two end caps and can be trimmed or curved for custom fits, providing a reliable, durable water barrier that also secures shower curtains effectively.

4/5 Stars
Does a great job, mostly sticks, may need some additional super glue or other adhesive if one side doesnโt properly adhere. Considering that it didnโt completely stick despite following instructions, could be a bit cheaper, but overall a great product.

Good Product
Would of gave a 5 star but the adhesive strips did not stick the way I hoped. I purchased some 1/2" Gorilla 2-way tape and some flex steel bathroom chalk and it did the job :)

It worked great for maybe 3 days and then it came unstuck and became useless

Water Dam
I installed the water dam in my low entry shower stall. The instructions were easy to follow although it should include which side should face the shower. I found a you tube about installation that referenced which way. It was easy to install and has helped keep my shower curtain inside the shower.

Keeps the water in!
We installed this for a disabled relative's bathroom remodel and it works as we hoped it would. Yay! You can't use a handheld shower and spray willy nilly; water will escape. But it does a good job of keeping water inside a curbless shower, and we paired it with a simple shower curtain that hangs at just the right length (about 1/4" off the floor). My relative can use her walker or wheelchair and roll right over this collapsible threshold.

Okay in an emergency renovation
This water damn was difficult to install in a straight manner due to the packaging and coiling of the item. I could not completely straighten the dam. It doesnโt collapse as easily or as fully as I had hoped. I would definitely recommend a 100% zero entry shower if we could do it all over again.

Not the best
This strip doesn't do much. I tried the solutions other reviewers suggested such as using gorilla double sided tape to adhere the strip to the shower floor and that didn't help much. The strip peeled itself off almost immediately. It doesn't get close enough to the wall so water still leaked through. I'm going to have to keep searching for a solution to our water leaking out of the shower.
