Exactly what I needed!
This book has the information I needed. I have been buying men's shoe lasts because I couldn't find any women's that worked for me. The problem is that none of the shoe lasts seem to be standardized when it comes to sizes. I wear a Men's 9EEEE in one shoe last. In another I wear a 9-1/2 or 10EEE!So, I got my foot measurement, added the proper amount to the length and measured the bottom of my recent shoe last purchase and found out that I actually have the perfect length! I'll still have to add some width to the last, but the length is exactly what I needed.The book not only shoes you photos of the different shoe styles but also shows you the shapes of the different arts so that you can get a good idea the difficulty of sewing each style.There's a ton of other really nice information in the book and being a tall woman with long fingers, the section on gloves is really going to help me!The only drawback is that the fractions are in Decimal form so you have to convert those.

No es al 100% lo que dice la portada , mucho texto y pocos patrónes
Estuve esperando y cazando por mucho tiempo la publicación y venta de este libro en Amazon, cuando finalmente lo adquiri me llevé una gran decepción, a comparación de otros libros de patrones del mismo autor donde el 90% del libro son patrones listos para transformar y confeccionar a la brevedad, este libro parece un libro de historia e informativo sobre los orígenes y los procesos de elaboración de cada tipo prenda que menciona en la portada, trae muy pocos patrones de cada cosa, del que más esperaba patrones era del de calzado pero solo trae el patrón para zapato tipo blusher, los patrones de bolsas están muy chafas y anticuados, el de gorros está más o menos y los demás muy x, sin tanto chiste, así que mejor ahórrense su dinero

Some parts are confusing, but all in all it's a great book. Books with this contents are rarely found. Especially how to make a pattern of a dog's jacket or gloves, ties... Bible book for all designers.
