No leaks, simple to install. Better that wax ring for it allows to reposition wihtou having to use a new wax ring.

I will always buy one of these. The value for the money, ease of use, quality, performance and fit can't be beat versus all wax rings. This makes a more accurate seal and gives you room for error while setting toilet in. This turned a heavy toilet 2 man job into a one man job that sealed on the first try. Ps, make sure your water line will fit your new toilet. A++++++×

If you have used a wax seal and it failed then you might want to try this newer type of seal. I was a little skeptical at first but decided to give new tech technology a try and I wasn’t disappointed. It was easy to install, no special tools needed and you can even realign if you’re off a little, I don’t think a wax seal would be that forgiving. I would recommend this over wax even if you don’t have any issues with fit.

Has wax for a good seal but flexible gasket on top for adjustability. Make sure to follow instructions. I'm not an experienced plumber who can get the toilet on a wax seal and not have to adjust. ANY adjustment that raises the toilet can be a potential leak so this was perfect for an amateur like me. It does take up space so may not work for some toilets with very little room and a flange sitting on top of the floor (which really should be where your flange sits).

Recently moved into a new home. As with any flipped home .. nothings ever perfect =(. After living there for a week - discovered liquid seeping out of the base of the toilet. So luckily I purchased this wax ring as it was after I pulled the toilet did i discover my flange was installed recessed into the floor. Voila this ring works both recessed or flush to the floor (which was the original wax rings problem.. too low to meet with the toilet to create the seal). It took me much longer to CLEAN and disinfect the area than it took me to remove install mount and finally seal it again. Its been 4 days of constant use.. and base of the toilet is dry. Wooo Hoo for DIY!

I install many toilets and these make it so much easier

I bought this product because I still wanted a wax type seal but liked that this was able to let the toilet be pulled if needed. It was clear from the product description that this would work for multiple flange heights. I followed the instructions for a high flange (above the floor) but no matter how hard I tried, I could not get the horn of the toilet to seat into the rubber seal. I give this product 3 stars though, because if it had worked, it was a super easy installation, very reasonably priced in comparison to traditional wax rings, and came with everything you’d need. I’ll put the majority of the blame on the flange being a little too high, but I felt this still should have worked, too.

I live in a house that's 150 years old. Nothing is square, nothing is plumb, nothing is level. I've had problems for decades with one of the toilet seals leaking. This is a much better idea than the old wax rings. Time will tell but, I have confidence this new design will hold up and I'll be able to get on with my life.

I've used the Danco Perfect Seal, and it far surpasses the traditional wax seal. Let me tell you, toilet work sucks, but this made it bearable. I had to adjust the stupid toilet so many times that I almost threw it out the door—haha! This seal saved the day. I wouldn't have been able to do it without this product. Five stars for making toilet installation a lot less frustrating!
