After reading favourable reviews about this picnic table, I decided to buy it. I am glad I did! I was looking for a larger table with an umbrella and this is almost perfect for my children's needs. I cannot fault the build and sturdiness, the umbrella is a very generous size and it was really straightforward to put together. My only niggle (albeit a very minor one, and not enough to score it down as I already knew about it before I bought it), is that the table top is moulded to be a wood grain pattern, so the kids can't really colour in properly on it. It's no big deal to use a clipboard though, and it doesn't bother my children (four years and one year old), or my older child's friends. This does comfortably seat six children, but could accommodate another two at a push, I've tried this out as my daughter had some of her nursery friends over two days ago, and they all ate outside (six four year olds and a one year old). It is heavy enough to not blow over and light enough to be easily moved by one adult. The umbrella comes with a clip you screw together underneath the table top to stop the bottom part of the stand from being removed, I did not affix this part as I remove the umbrella as a whole each night, and as the lower part of the stand is hollow, it would fill with water when it rained if left out all the time, and it would probably reduce the life of the product. There is a small blue cap that can be placed into the hole on the table that is left when the umbrella is removed, but this only rests inside the hole and may blow out if there's too much of a wind (or small fingers decide to play with it!), so I have also chosen to not use this piece. I would certainly recommend this product over a wooden picnic table, this is actually a replacement for a fairly expensive wooden set that has not lasted even two years before falling apart, and the coordinating umbrella rusting despite being stored inside a shed.

My daughter absolutely loves this! She spent majority of her time sitting on this, eating and playing. Holds plenty of weight and spacious. Umbrella is perfect for providing shade
