Quality Materials
This seems well made and is tight, when installed. The key feature I appreciate is it is all metal and will not degrade over time in full sunlight like my previous plastic hose splitter did after about 3 years.

Worked Well Initially, but a Weak Design Caused a Major Failure
At first, I was pretty happy with this hose splitter. The brass construction gave it a solid feel, and the overall quality seemed good when I installed it. It worked well with my automatic sprinkler setup and had no leaks during normal use. Unfortunately, the long-term durability was disappointing. The top threaded section connects securely to the spigot, but the lower portion appears to be held together by a steel retaining wire or clip. That part eventually failed after only one season of use. The bigger issue was the timing. I wasn’t home when it gave out, and since it was connected to an automatic sprinkler system, water started flooding continuously until my neighbor noticed and shut off the spigot for me. That could have turned into a much bigger problem. It’s frustrating because the material quality initially gave the impression that this would last much longer. In the end, one weak design choice completely undermined what otherwise seemed like a solid product.

Leaks from one of the outlets. Junk.
One of the outlets no longer closes all the way which created a leak that lasted several days before we discovered it. We have had it hooked up to 2 weeks. Not good.

Not for use anywhere near salt or brackish water.
works great, but after 5 months of salty air the finish is deteriorated and crumbing away. It looks like its 10 years old..
