The moisture indicator beads on 4 out of 5 units failed and so don’t turn back from green to orange …… so it’s unclear when (if) the unit has dried out / is full. Absolute junk.

These are great! I have them in my closets, and bedrooms . Makes such a difference. I used to use the bags that fill up with water, these you don’t have the chance of leaking( which I had, what a mess!) You just set on shelf or hang ( comes with hooks for the option of hanging) When the beads turn black through the window, you plug it in and it will dry out again, the beads will be orange again when they are ready. I’ve saved so much money & eliminated the chance of messes by using these. No more musty smell. It’s well worth the price because they are continuously reusable.

Strange how they work and turn green. I have 3 in a basement closet all at different levels. Humidity stays a constant 45 to 50 with the middle one turning green first, the high one second and the bottom one last. You would think humility is heavy and the lowest would turn green first. I was kind of hoping having 3 in there would get it down to 40, but no such luck. Anyway, they dry out in a day and work well.
