Mascot XM Paring Knife, Fruit Knife 4 Inches Kitchen Vegetable Cutlery Stainless Steel Forged Blade Ultra Sharp Ergonomic Handle Non Slip Cooks Knives

It has quickly become my first choice of cutting fruit, vegetables and meat. I keep it sharp with a sharpener every now and then.update:1 star reduced as marks appeared on both blade and handle after putting it in dishwasher once. So not suitable to be washed in dishwasher (didn't note any warning about this on its box)

Bought this and a similar Sabatier pairng knife at the same time. While this is very stylish, the tang sits proud of the handle by about 1mm all the way around . Very poor fit. The Sabatier was slightly cheaper and perfectly finished, flush all the way around the handle, smooth and comfortable, as well as being sharper. Which would you buy?

The 'mascot' in the handle is of poor quality and maybe that was the reason for such a large 'discount' on the original purchase price. Can't answer as to durability as not had it long enough but if I had seen it in a shop I would have put it back

I have a few of these Mascot XM knives and they are very good. Well built and nice and sharp - great for the price.

I love this knife, good size, very sharp and easy to handle. This knife is unbelievable when you cut into any fruit!
