I picked up the Sony INZONE E9 Wired In-Ear Monitor mainly for competitive games life Fortnite and Arc Raidrs, and they’ve been really solid so far. The biggest thing I noticed right away is how clear everything sounds. Footsteps, reloads, little movements, it’s all easy to pick up, which honestly helps more than I expected in FPS games. They’re tuned more for accuracy than big booming sound, and that really shows. They’re also surprisingly comfortable. Lightweight, sit well in the ear, and don’t get annoying during longer play times. The noise isolation is good too because it blocks out enough background noise so you can stay focused. They’re not really meant for music or cinematic games, but that’s kind of the point. These feel built specifically for competitive play, and for that, they do the job really well. If you mostly play shooters and want something simple that gives you a bit of an edge, these are a great pick.
