Extremely comfortable. Great material and the size (19.7) is perfect for my computer chair and in my car. I've purchased multiple cushions over the years and this is by far the best one.

I spend several hours a day at my computer and after several years, my really nice Serta Office Chair was no longer comfortable on my bottom. My wife bought a nice flat pad on Amazon, but after a couple months it lost it's cushioning. In my late 70's I don't want to buy and a new expensive office chair, so I looked at many cushions on Amazon. Soooo many to choose from and all claim to be great with many features or "Recommended by xxx" or "Top Seller" or "Amazon Choice" and “Great Reviews”. I don’t want “Hype” or funky claims, just real facts. I'm 6'2" and 270# so I really need a big, wide and thick pad plus a contoured pad would be better than flat. I don't have issues with my tail bone, back or pelvis, just couldn't sit more than 30 to 60 minutes with or without the pad my wife bought. I looked at many and sorted out the fluff. Now I've had the 19.7" Gel Seat Cushion by Rapiro for 2 full months and so happy I bought it. At first I was concerned about the high ‘Hip Sculpting” places because they didn’t quite fit my bottom, but after the week I don’t even notice them anymore. It stays in place on my chair and stays cool, a plus for me. It is very comfortable and has maintained it’s shape. Now I can sit for several hours and no longer have a sore bottom. It’s so comfortable I had set an alarm to get up once in awhile and not be so inactive.

I purchased this as an option for a car cushion in colder weather. I have been using a Cushion Lab-type memory foam cushion in my car which is great for the summer, but in colder temperatures, it starts out like a rock until it warms-up enough to soften and actually provide cushion. With it getting colder now, I figured I would give a gel cushion a try since it wouldn't be affected by the temperature. I am happy I ordered this one because it has similar contours as my memory foam cushion, and it is very comfortable to sit on for long drives. It is heavier than the memory foam one, but that is actually a good thing, as the weight helps to keep it in place. Obviously, different cars vary, but this cushion fits over my car seat perfectly. My only complaint is that I wish it would have had a more stretchy fabric-like cover instead of a mesh one. It is still comfortable, but the fabric would simply look better and richer than the mesh. I realize the mesh is likely there for functionality (to increase air flow) and no one really sees it when I am sitting on it, so it doesn't affect my rating in any negative way. I haven't had to wash it yet but I get the impression that would be easy, as well.

Good cushion the start with, however, after sitting on it for hours a day it flattens out and is uncomfortable.

I Can't be without it, this cushion has become a MUST have for work! I'm an AEMT and former Army, believe me when I say my back is bad... its awful. I have arthritic changes, a blown out disc (S5) and 3 herniated all in my lower lumbar. I can't drive the ambulance for 12-24 hours and still be able too walk, without it. Not only does it almost completely eliminate my back pain, it gives me enough boost to see more comfortably over the dash. Most of the seats are pretty broken down in our trucks! I don't work without this seat cushion, I call it my booster seat, and really it's my back saver. My husband is a truck driver and I've just ordered one for him and I guarantee he's going to love it! The cover on mine is wearing out, so at some point I'm gonna need a new cover 😆. Buy it, your back will thank you. It's well worth the teasing I get at work, for carrying it out to my truck every day! If they were smart, they would get their own "booster seats" and save themselves from back problems down the road!

I am 64 yrs old, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and 6 months ago I had to have the entire lumbar section of my back from L2toS1fused together and to top that, for ten and a half hours a day I just went back to work riding on a Special Needs School Bus as an attendant. I bought a 3 1/2 inch Memory foam seat cushion I thought would work, but it was next to having nothing, every bump jarred my back as bad as the first. Out of desperation I ordered this Gel Seat Cushion and I tried it and will never go back to memory foam again. If I could give this Gel Cushion a 10 out of 10 rating I would. It’s like having air ride suspension. Quality is #1, cost is very affordable. Worth 3 times the price I paid. I will be ordering several more of these Gel Seat Cushions. They are worth having several around.

I don't know where all these good reviews are coming from but this cushion is horrible, first it is nowhere near the size they claim it is and it gives no support it flattens out almost immediately. I'm 5'8" 210 and this is pretty much same as no cushion, opened it tried it in the house for about 15 minutes took some measurements and repacked it for a return, very dissapointed!

I got this as a Comfortable cushion for my mobility scooter because the seat on the scooter is not capable of stopping the bumpy ride over the terrible terrain and lousy pavement up town where I live. This cushion absorbs all the bumps and makes the ride allot more bearable. It’s handy that it can be washed also, pleased with this product
