ZAFRO Portable Air Conditioner, 12000 BTU(8000 BTU SACC), 72H Drainage-free

If your going portable you want 2 hose models. Single hose kept turning off to "prevent freezing"....in a room it barely cooled to 70 degrees. This model is big but it's been on AC/Fan constant for weeks and zero issues. Quiet and works great. Good features to.

Quickly cools the space, quiet, and doesn't pull much power for how well it cools! If you have any questions or need help, zafro support is extremely quick to respond and are very helpful!

Great product

This is a great portable A/C unit. It will keep a small room or space very cool and comfortable. I had to return this unit because it wasn't strong enough to cool a 24' RV and that's what I bought it for. Please be aware that the unit boasts 12,000 btu but the number you really need to pay attention to is the (8000 BTU SACC). This number tells you what the unit actually does in real world conditions. My RV is in Texas, and the August heat is just too much! Make sure you are not trying to cool too much space, and this unit will serve you well.

Note that I ordered the “no frills” version of this unit in September of last year so its a bit different than the models currently being offered. This unit I ordered did not have app control and the control interface is on the very top of the unit. The system I ordered COOLS REALLY WELL and does so economically, using minimal power. It is compact, fairly quiet and is super easy to install. +++The window plate is a low profile design that securely clamps the hose and only requires the window to be open about 4” instead of the whole hose diameter like others I’ve ordered so it’s less visable from the exterior and more manageable to place and secure. ++++The low profile also uses a simple but great design and functional thumb screw and washer system to easily and quickly adjust and hold the two piece Plate to the proper window width. I had to trim the non-port window piece about 2’ to fit my window before it would fit my width but it was simple and quick to do with a saws all and my slightly uneven cut job doesn’t show on the inside as it is hidden behind the front port piece. The hose also easily and cleverly attaches to the unit with a bracket that slides in place and then is secured well with two screws so it stays in place on the ac back and won’t pop off unexpectedly like others I’ve ordered have used. Th remote is simple and not back lit for night viewing so be careful not to accidentally hit the dehuidifier mode button if you are not using it for,that purpose as it could place water on your floor if you do not have the hose in place. We are using ours as a fan and ac only for a second story bedroom/office. There are only two speeds low and high but that works for us for our use. Note the clever timer function that can be used to countdown hours UNTIL STARTING OR HOURS TO RUN UNTIL OFF. So if you are going to work you outside your home you can set it to start in 6-8 hours or whatever so it starts and begins cooling before you get home , go to bed etc. very clever. This unit is simple, compact, easy to install and all that we need for our specific room, love the install ease and low profile window plate. A great value.
