suspenseful, emotional, and impossible to put down
this book was such a ride. from the very first chapter i was pulled into mackenzie’s world and did not want to leave. the premise itself is so intriguing. a girl grieving the death of her famous author mother, only to begin receiving mysterious letters that reveal disturbing secrets. it is such a unique setup, and i loved how everything unfolded without ever feeling overcomplicated or overly dramatic. the writing flows smoothly, the pacing is fast, and there was not a single dull moment.the twists were handled so well. even though i guessed the biggest one ahead of time, i was still fully invested in watching the story unravel. the suspense builds naturally, the tension stays high, and the way everything comes together at the end feels both eerie and satisfying. it is emotional, unsettling, and messy in just the right ways.i also really loved the cover. it is simple but striking, perfectly fitting the tone of the story. it sets the mood before you even open the first page.this is a sharp, well written, and compelling read that kept me hooked from beginning to end.

Full of twists and turns
What if the parent you lost wasn’t the person you really knew?In Love, Mom, Mackenzie loses her mother, a famous thriller author, but soon begins receiving old journal pages signed “Love, Mom.” Each letter unravels secrets that blur the line between fiction and her family’s reality. For me, this book was an addictive mix of grief, suspense, and family drama. I loved how every twist pulled me deeper, making me question not just the characters but also how well we ever know the people closest to us.

Thrilling read. Unputdowable
Okay, so imagine this—your mother dies suddenly. Everyone calls it an accident. You’re grieving, confused, and just trying to hold yourself together. Then, out of nowhere, you receive a letter. From her. After her death. And it says:'Want to know a secret? Love, Mom.'That’s exactly how the story begins. And from that first line, I was hooked. The story follows Mackenzie Casper, who’s lived her whole life in the shadow of her mother—a bestselling author who wrote twisted thrillers but never really showed emotion in real life. After her death, Mackenzie starts getting more letters. And slowly, things stop making sense. Memories feel off. People act strange. And then comes the most disturbing truth of all—the woman Mackenzie grew up with, the woman she loved as a mother… wasn’t her mother at all. That moment shattered me. Like… what would you even do if you found out the woman who raised you was someone else entirely? Who is she? Why did she lie? And most importantly—where is Mackenzie’s real mother? The way this story unfolds—with diary pages, chilling clues, buried secrets—it’s like peeling back layers of someone else’s nightmare. Every chapter ends with your heart racing, every reveal makes you question everything. This isn’t just a thriller—it’s an emotional punch wrapped in mystery. It’s about identity, grief, betrayal… and the need to know the truth, no matter how dark it is. If you’re into family secrets, jaw-dropping twists, and stories that don’t let you sleep till you finish the last page—this one’s for you. Trust me, once you start, there’s no going back.
