I use this under my cat's litter tray, as they have a habit of scattering litter everywhere. This is a well made, heavy matt, and has deep fingers that do a good job of keeping the litter contained within the matt instead of all over the guest bathroom. It's a bit of a mess to empty, but I'm able to recover most of the scattered litter left behind, and reduce the waste and mess. I expect this matt would work equally well for containing the dirt and sand tracked into the house by guests, and it is definitely easy to dump and spray off. It doesn't slip on smooth surfaces, and seems like it will wear for a long time. A little pricey, but that reflects the quality.

It works great and is easy to clean

This one tough rug that performs. I have this rug outside the door that comes into the house from our garage. My dog have a dog door to go outside and they live in the heated garage. Well my wirehair pointer loves to “fluff” the rug yo lay down on it which he basically folds it over after going at it like he’s burying a bone and he has destroyed a few rugs. This one seems to be holding up well to Ed’s abuse. Is holds the dirt so I can dump it where I want without getting it where I don’t want.

The mat holds up very well under heavy use. I deducted 1 star because I had to modify the mat nearly immediately. The rectangular rubber frame holds water between and up to the tips of the conical rubber pips of the mat! And unless you pick it up and dump it, it stays there a long time. Not ideal for an exterior door mat. Or an interior one that wet shoes and boots walk over! The simple fix was to cut a 2pips X 2pips square out of each corner and the middle. No more watery mat!

This rug is very effective in removing muddy debris from shoes and boots. Just inside the garage is a great place for it! It does seem to hold onto pebbles making cleanup a bit more difficult.

Use these around my cat litter box and from the entrance to that boxes room. Works awesome and heavy enough to vacuum it. Gonna buy more!

We love our dogs. They're our children. When we got our newest two puppies the grass in the yard eventually disappeared. One loves to dig holes and they both do zoomies around the yard no stop. The house was getting very dirty pretty fast. I took a chance on this mat and glad I did. It trains and holds a large amount of dirt. Each week I take it outside and empty it. It's so easy to do, dirt falls out effortlessly. Far easier than pounding dirt out of our wool rugs. Must have for dog owners.

I live in the Vegas area and I needed a mat for the front door that would both clean shoes, but also not fly away in the wind. From time to time the wind here is severe and it has not moved this mat an inch. I have been using this mat for several months now and am completely happy with it. It is easy to clean simply by lifting it and shaking it and the dirt falls out. It seems to be standing up to the desert sun although its only in the sun for part of the morning due to the suns angle. It makes an oddly pleasing sound when you step on it and the rubber fingers chunch from the standing pressure (which causes no damage to the mat). I think it was a perfect choice and would be happy to order another if needed.
