I love how this looks. I bought it for my mud room that has windows on the west side. It gets very hot in there in the summer, and I thought I would try it to see if it would cool it down at all. It cooled down a very significant amount, far better than expected. It did take some time to put up, it was a learning process, but by the end of it, I felt like I had a system down for doing it that worked quickly. At the end of the summer, some of the corners warped up a little, but not enough to need to replace it, and after a cold, snowy winter, it is still up and ready for this summer. I expect it to wear out this year or next (maybe) and I intend to buy it again when that happens. It looks really nice from outside, too, all I see is a mirror reflection instead of the stuff in the mudroom. The key to applying it is to make sure you have a spray bottle of water, the water smooths everything and makes it easy to apply, don’t be shy about using it.

I love it! Now I can open up my back door curtains and not feel like I’m living in a fish bowl. Bonus is my cats and I can still see out. I may not have put it up perfect but I feel it’s the imperfection of it is what I love. Very easy to install, clings amazingly to the window and stays put. Has also made the room feel warmer. Great buy, totally recommend if you are looking for privacy.

Works as intended, but if you're looking for something to give you privacy at nighttime; the film only seems to act more like window tint. It works best when light can reflect off of it, which I knew before purchasing. So great for daytime, it essentially acts like a mirror. You can still see inside very subtlety I must add. If you're trying to cover a sliding glass door (one side) you might need 2 rolls or longer ones. I had to buy 2.

This is actually my third time trying this. I assumed the first attempt failed due to user error. Though I have done window tint on cars before without issues. The second it failed after consulting with a professional. The third failed with a professional. I assume now at this point the manufacturer has never even tried their own crappy products. I think the biggest thing that bothers me, is no matter what you use for a squeegee it will scratch the tint because there is no protective layer on the top. If you want some help with it not curling on you laying out flat in the hot sun for a few hours or use a heat gun to help. And as far as I can figure, you need at least 4 people helping you. One for each corner as you flatten it out. Honestly get a more expensive product. It will save you money in the long run. Would not recommend.

I bought this for my street-facing windows and I’m honestly really happy with the result. During the day, it gives total privacy you can see out perfectly, but from the sidewalk, it just looks like a mirror. A big tip for the install: use way more soapy water than you think you need. It makes it so much easier to squeegee out the bubbles. It’s also helped noticeably with the afternoon heat in my living room. Definitely worth the effort if you're tired of keeping your blinds closed all day.

Update: I decided to stick with the product. One pane never stuck well but a little bit of scotch tape helps. (See original photos). Our trash pick up is next to the house rather than at the curb. It was unsettling to see people and know they could be looking in. I no longer have this issue. Since I am in SFL the strength of the sun always does some damage to any product exposed to sun. It has reduced the mirror effect slightly. It’s enough that I no longer have night concerns, but I also don’t worry that garbage pick up can see through into my home without staring. I recommend this product for a cheap and easy fix. Original review: First off, this product does everything it says it does. Installation was easy enough. If you have colonial or several smaller panes it’s more difficult only because there’s more measurements and cutting. Figuring out what side is what is difficult because there is only one small tab on the side you remove. So once cut orientation is more work. Sticky notes will make this easier on you. I like this product during the day. You can still see inside if you are close to the windows and squint. My issue is with the reverse effect. You can’t see outside unless you do the same at night. I only did half the windows to block our garbage access area for more privacy. It’s a bit unsettling that I wouldn’t be able to immediately notice a trespasser in the evening or darkness. As long as you’re okay with that it’s a good product. The reverse is noted in the description. I decided to give it a gamble. I may not stick with this product for my intentions. However it’s great to know that removal will be simple as it is just a static cling sheet.

I added this film to the glass in the doors of my console in my living room is very easy to apply and it looks very nice giving my furniture price a touch of elegance. it does well in covering the glass so that you cannot see the items inside the cabinet.

This is a total game changer. We have intense West sun on our front door, it got so hot between our glass storm door and the metal door it warped the casing around the door window. We used to prop our storm door open in the afternoon until dark. This has saved the day, we no longer have the heat between the doors and you don't burn your hand opening the interior door anymore! Was a little tricky for a novice, read all the instructions before beginning, we didn't, made it a bit harder!

Bought two rolls hoping to cover kitchen window instead of blind. Scrubbed windows etc. followed the instructions but didn’t work. Just seemed to slide off.

La verdad es que me llevo con arrugas que después de la instalación no se han ido, bastante decepcionado con el producto. No Lo quito porque el final aunque no queda estéticamente bien, cumple con su función para filtrar el sol

You cannot see out from inside ...it makes the whole window black! Could have taped a black Bristol board on the window for $1.50.
