Good choice for HTPC, web browsing, OTT, YouTube streaming
GT 1030 is an affordable choice for multimedia/OTT HTPC. Supports HTCP 2.2, needed for 4k/8k playback. SUpports AVC/H264/H265/HEVC/VP9 hardware decoding at 4k/8k. VLC, SMPlayer/MPV and WMP/Media Player can decode 4k/8k HEVC/VP9 files/network streams easily at hardware level. I can easily stream 4k YouTube videos without any flickr or lags, in all major web browsers on Win10. Unfortunately, HEVC/VP9 4k hardware decoding is not working on Linux Browsers (Chrome/Firefox), these browsers don't yet support Nvidia's NVDEC library on Linux platform. Prime Video doesn't show full HD option on Linux browers. Linux's SMPlayer/MPV/VLC can play 4k/8k HEVC/VP9 smoothly using Nvidia's NVDEC hardware decoding. Web browsers run faster and crisper overall. With this card, Windows10/11 supports HDR desktop, HDR images and HDR video playback, if your monitor also supports HDR. However, Amazon Prime and Disney Hotstar don't support 4k, nor HDR on Windows/Linux PC (in browsers or Native Apps) at the time of this writing. Hotstar shows upto 1080p. Prime Video also plays at 1080p max (no HDR). Also, no OTT platform, except YouTube , streams 1440p (2k) resolution. Hopefully at least 4k support will be added to windows by these platforms, there is no fault on Nvidia's side, their card is perfectly capable of 4k/8k and HDR content and HEVC/VP9 hardware decode. Note that AV1 hardware decode is not supported.

Beginners graphic card
The graphics card is suitable for low to moderate graphical games. As I tested this card with high settings though it handles the high settings but fps drops to below 30 and found slight lags. 1080 pixel can run in this card but with high settings there will be medium to heavy lags. Best settings for this card would be around 720 pixel with medium graphics settings were this card would run most of the games with smooth rendering of graphical images. This card is suitable for normal gamers and not for heavy gamers. PC specs will also play major role in performance of this card. I recommend you to research and buy card based on your game demand and budget.

Crosses expectations
This GPU will allow u to play high end games at medium settings...(720p or 768p) My cpu : i5 -4460 2.9ghz 8gb ram 1tb hdd + 128 gb ssd 500w psu Runs smoothly for both low and high end games God of War - medium -settings 25 - 35 fps without fsr (rare framedrops) 768p Resident evil village - high settings - 40 - 50 fps.... But at most of the places ull notice heavy frame drops 768p Resident evil 7 - very high settings 50 - 60fps ,no Fps drop at all.768p if 1080p then 30 - 40 fps The new resident evil 4 remake runs smoothly than the RE village 20 - 35fps at 768p Outlast 2 , 50 - mostly 60 fps at High settings 1080p Hitman 3 , rdr2 , gta v , assassins creed ... Runs good... Very happy with its performance Also note this GT 1030 ddr5 is similar to GTX 660 ddr5

Good performance, Speeds up everyday tasks, takes load off your CPU
I have an I3- Core 4130 (4th Gen) with 8GB RAM. PROS 1. This card takes the graphics load off the CPU and makes things faster. 2. 4K Movies also play smoothly. 3. Consumes only upto 30W of power and fits in small spaces. So you don't have to worry about your Power supply capacity. 4. Extended warrant up to 5 years (Free on product registration) 5. This allows low level gaming but is not really ideal for gamers. 6. This is much faster than the Geforce 710 cards and also the 730 4GB card. I bought this for about Rs6500 Cons. Wont handle heavy games at fast frame rates. For real gaming needs you should buy Geforce GTX 1650 Super or a Radeon RX 570 or Higher Cards. These cards are in the 12-20K range. Also at least an I-5 Core CPU with 16 GB DDR4 RAM I recommend this Card for everyday tasks and casual gaming. I haven't found anything better at a similar price point.

Great Entry Level GPU - value for money
I bought this card for 6.5k. There are better cards like 1050 or 1050 ti or newer cards like the 1650. But this was half the price with 75% performance compared to those cards. I would recommend you go for this card if 1. your psu is 200W-300W because this uses very less power. 2. It is also low profile that means it will fit in most cases. 3. If you have an old prebuild you can buy this for gaming. 4. Lastly if your monitor resolution is 1080p or less you can play games released upto 2013 on high, upto 2016 on medium and games after 2016 on low to medium settings for a consistent 60 fps. Benchmarks with i3 3220 and 8GB ram on 900p resolution. 1. CSGO - 120 fps 2. NFS Most Wanted and Rivals work on highest settings 3. Shadow of the Tomb Raider - 30 fps on normal textures, TAA anti-aliasing, all other settings on ultra. (The game is smooth on 30 fps as it's not a First Person Shooter game) 4. Metro Last Light Redux - 60 fps on medium settings 5. GTA V - 60 fps on medium to high settings. 6. Pubg Mobile on tencent - 90 fps on low settings, no lag. This is the best if this is your first gpu and you have a tight budjet.

It's amazing and makes your old potato pc get a resurrection.
I have a 10 year old pc, wanted to game during lockdown, tried gt 710 and 730 both were good. And i wanted a slight upgrade even though it's not for anyone with newer PC s , if you have old potato pc, hoping i3 2nd generation or phenom ii and so on, or even lower or little higher, This one works magic. Also it's best if you have a 4x2 gb ram and not too old processor, otherwise you're very much bottle necked and has some plenty fps losses.

Bang for the Buck
If you are looking for new and safe card go for it. And please don't expect this card to play games at 1080p High settings with 60fps. This is a very good card if you have never played any pc games. For me it's a star. Because I'm not a fps hungry guy. If I can 7-8 years old games at 1080p low settings getting only 40-45fps then also I'm happy. And also this card can play GTA V at 1080p med setting with 40-45fps so that is more than enough. And also this card can play valorant pretty well too. So if you only have around 8k and there is no chance that you are getting more money and you are desperate to play game(if you have never) then go for it. My Specs- CPU- I3 540 DDR3 4GB x 2 RAM GPU- ZOTAC GT 1030 2GB GDDR5 SSD- Crucial BX500 (My processor is very old so it is bottlenecking, if you have better cpu than mine then you will get even more fps than me) BENCHMARK: Rise of the Tomb Raider - 1080p low settings 30-35fps GTA V - 1080p medium settings 35-40fps Far Cry 3 - 1080p medium-high settings 45-50fps Mortal Kombat X - 1080p Medium Settings 45-50fps

Perfect For A Dell 660 Desktop
Nvidia created this entry level graphics card for reasons stated below. This card is meant to revive older PC's like mine, I have a 7 yr old Dell 660 desktop(regular version not the slim) and I installed this easily with the help of a youtube tutorial. My specs are 8GB(1600 MHz DDR3) of ram and also an i5 Intel 3300 4 core processor. Games I tested are GTA V, DOOM 2016, both games ran really well, 40+ fps set on med-high settings. As for most PC games you do have to play with the graphics settings to suit your needs. GTA V FPS ran better in 720P mode with higher graphics enabled, for 1080p I lowered the specs a bit, but the game still looks great and plays great on on this setting as well. DOOM ran fine with overall graphics on Medium with display on 1080p, 720p mode didn't look very good at all so I switched it back, I was also enabling the Vulkin API in DOOM, it was a bit buggy and froze a couple times but that was when it was set in 720p, adjusting it back to 1080p did the trick. As I mentioned I had adjusted the overall graphics to Medium level in DOOM while in 1080p, which gave me higher FPS, and the game still looks really good even on Med. level. So overall. This is definitely worth your money, why throw away or donate a PC that is like this one or similar, just because it's old doesn't mean you can't upgrade it, or at least do the research to see if it is capable of an upgrade. For $135.00 with tax and shipping included, I just saved a perfectly good computer and made it very capable of playing Triple A titles. I'm definitely impressed with this card and highly recommend.

Great, cheap graphics card for general use and Photo AI software
I read the reviews and this looked perfect for fitting inside my very small SFF case but I was worried that it might be slightly too big. Fortunately, it fits OK inside the case (Dell Optiplex 7020). I can now use my Iiyama wide monitor at it's top resolution of 3440x1440 and it runs Topaz Photo AI software faster than the I7 CPU. Very happy with the purchase.
