what are the active ingredients

It has only 1 active ingredient: Loratadine 10 mg. This is sold as Loratadine in drug stores as well. It is identical to Claritin non-drowsy 10 mg. I have been taking Loratadine for years and Kirdland's version is far cheaper than the drugstore price.

What are the inactive ingredients?

The only ingredient listed is Loratadine. It also claims it is "Gluten free".

The ones I purchased a little while ago have an 11/14 expiration date so they were good for at least 18 months from when I received them.

Is the cap child-proof?

Yes. But it's not ridiculously hard to open. You can put the bottle on a counter and press down with your palm while turning the bottle with your other hand and it will open fairly easy (for those with arthritis).
