100% would recommend you anybody looking for a versatile budget friendly tent
I looked at a lot of different SUV tents before choosing this one, and this one hands-down looked much nicer and sturdier than the others. I used it on a camping trip a few weeks ago in Knoxville and was really impressed with how spacious it was — there was plenty of room for all my gear and still lots of space to move around. One of my favorite features is that you can easily pull your SUV away from the tent and it stays standing, then back right up and reconnect without any hassle. If you plan on sleeping in the back of your SUV like I did, I’d recommend a small step stool if you’re on the shorter side because climbing in can be a little awkward. My friend, who is almost 6 feet tall, stepped inside to check it out and still had tons of headroom. Overall, this tent made camping much easier and more comfortable, and it was easy to put up. There are only three poles to hook through the tent and then the side poles did get a little bit of wind, but had no problem. It stayed up perfectly as I do with all of my tents I did spray it down with the water guard. I love that it has two big windows on both sides and then the back where the door is is all one big screen or you can close it all off. I put it up in My Son loved it so much. He’s buying one for himself and my friend that I went camping with in Knoxville. He liked it so much. He bought one for the back of his hiker trailer.. I’d definitely recommend it.

Car tent? Not very useful.
Is good as advertised, but really with one use, i realized car tent isnt really that useful. Unless you dont plan on going anywhere with your car once you get setup.

Great Option for my Honda Element Car Camper
I have not camped with this tent yet, but I wanted to leave an honest review for anyone like me who likes to see pictures and hear about the overall set-up and quality of the tent. SET UP- pretty straightforward - it comes with instructions attached to the inside of the bag. I opened it up and set it up for the first time on my driveway. I am 5'9" tall and I was able to set it up by myself. Conditions were temperate with little wind. I think if it was windy it might be harder for me to do on my own since the tent is quite tall. But overall I was happy with the ease of set up. DESIGN- It's quite big and I like how it's tall inside and I can easily stand up. I typically sleep in my car (I have the back built out as a camper, but I like the idea of having a tent that attaches like this one so I can have a hang out space if it's raining, too buggy, need shade, or have a friend traveling with me. ++ I can close the back of my car and lock it while still having the tent attached. ++ I can detach the tent and leave it free-standing if I choose to drive and come back to my campsite later. QUALITY- The tent material seems of decent quality that will last for some time. The floor is good but I would definitely put a tarp underneath and/or an indoor/outdoor mat/carpet for extra support/sturdiness. The zippers have pull ties so they are easy to use and of medium/good quality- my primary concern is more about them catching in the tent material- which they do if you're not mindful when zipping. Overall I'm quite impressed with the quality & size of the tent. I'm excited to use it on my next car camping adventures.

A newbie camper’s review…
Ok, for the price, I think this tent is great. I saw a couple tents that were cheaper, but I didn’t want to totally skimp out for my first time camping. I read people had problems with the zipper breaking; I could see that. It’s not the strongest zipper, very light. So if you don’t take your time to follow the seams to keep it from catching, I can see how it would break. It’s like zipping up a windbreaker too quickly. It’s going to catch. That being said, the tent is not a thick material, (is it supposed to be?) it really is more like a light windbreaker. Like anything, test it out before you actually need it. I practiced putting this tent up by myself and it took me just under 20 minutes. It’s very doable. The instructions are written on a tag inside the bag and they have pictures! (Super helpful.) With two people, we got it set up in 10 minutes. Used it to go car camping for a week and it held up very well! A couple nights were a little windy. But all nights were dry, so I can’t comment on how it will hold up in the rain. If you can remember how you unfolded the tent the very first time out of the bag, keep the same folds, and it will be very easy to get all the air out and have it fit right back into the storage bag. (Maybe this is common sense, but like I said, this is my first time ever camping and using a tent.) That being said the only two things have to do with the fact we used this with a Jeep Wrangler. 1.) There are a couple small gaps, but that’s probably due to the boxiness of the Wrangler. 2.) I wish I paid attention to where the tent door is located. The tailgate opens into the only door on this tent. More of a convenience issue, but we made it work. Because I know this specific tent is reliable, I won’t bother testing out another one with a different door. It’s worth the hassle and I’m happy that I ended up with a quality tent that I’ll be able to use again.
