Top-tier bird seed.
This is some good quality bird seed. It is a good size. My birds love it. The color looks fine. It's always arrived fresh. I consistently buy this year and year. The birds in both Maryland and Colorado love it.

Oddly popular with blue jays and woodpeckers
I'm feeding birds at a Brooklyn apartment window birdfeeder with humans clearly visible, and there are a good many bird feeders in this area (you'd be surprised at the variety of birds that call Brooklyn home) so it's a bit of a game to find what attracts birds the most. Mess free was always a requirement. Peanuts are a sure win, though since I have a nut-allergic friend coming over regularly that's literally off the table. They are the most popular, and if that's an option for your birds, go for it. The only downside there is sometimes it looks like the birds, especially the doves, might choke on it. For morning doves, sunflower hearts and this cracked corn are tied for second. As I type one dove it sitting on the windowsill eating the hearts and the other is eating this. Doves are city birds. They don't care. A human wants to watch? That's fine. There's food. They're fast and they know it. They just eat. Some of the doves, having had thistle seed, will settle for nothing else. Yep, we've taught a flock of scavenger birds to be finicky. The bag say titmice won't eat this. The titmice did not read the bag. They love it. It is tied with sunflower hearts, but for them I suspect it's based on comfort level with humans. The ones who just snatch a seed and fly away prefer the more portable sunflower hearts. The ones who feel confident enough to stay a few minutes and eat prefer these. If your feeder is in a place birds feel less threatened, I think this will be a top winner. That means I like this best for them, because I get to see them longer. For blue jays, this is more popular than the sunflower hearts. Again, there is the nervous nature of these birds. I'm more likely to catch them eating when I first come into the kitchen, before they see me. Sometimes they hang out and eat, and that's awesome. They're beautiful, and I hope this tempts them to hang out more. I'm definitely getting more visits from them since I started putting this out. For woodpeckers this is beaks down a winner, even over peanuts. They love this stuff. I've had more of them visit since putting this out than ever before. It's trial and error to find what the local birds like, what tempts them, and I'll probably keep experimenting but I'll be stocking this for my feeder. It's a hit. The bag is very sturdy, opens easily, and sadly doesn't reseal. I don't know why that isn't a more common feature in bird food bags. Seems a needed and obvious one to me.

Good product
Usually put this out once a day for the birds and critters. They eat every single piece and there is no waste. This product comes in a nice sealed package no issues at all.

My bird friends LOVE it
My local bird friends LOVE it. For that reason I’m giving it a 5 star. I’ve seen reviews about the dust and some processing issues, which I’ve noticed as well. But for the price it’s 100% worth it.

Muscovy Ducks Love It
Bought this because the calories and carbs help keep our local wild waterfowl from getting too cold and sick through the winter months. A great addition to their regular feed.

Perfect for critter feed
I am making my own blend of critter feed and used to buy a premade blend that had this in it. It attracts a lot of different birds and animals. I fill my squirrel table to keep them from visiting my bird feeders as often. They seem to love the cracked corn and this blend appears to be perfect. Also keeps my doves, blue jays and black birds busy. Now I make my own blend and this is a lot of cracked corn so adding it with all of my other bags of feed, I can make a 40lb bucket of food that will have little waste.
