I never thought we would own a cement mixer, but with a big cement project including a patio, as well as fire pit and water feature my husband wanted to save about $10,000 and do it on his own. I had my doubts, but no longer. This cement mixer has made it much easier than we expected. It is worth every penny!This cement mixer surpassed all our expectations! First of all, we love the portability. It is easy to move around which is essential in our extensive concrete mixing project as we landscape our back yard. It easily handles 3 (80-lb) bags of Quik Crete at a time. We have already poured 100 bags and will pour at least that many more before we are done. The mixer still looks and works like new.The height of the mixer is also excellent. You can easily mix and pour in just a couple of minutes. We also love the quality of this product. It is so well made and sturdy. I think this mixer might outlive us! The mixer is easy to clean. A quick rinse with a hose and it is ready to go again. The only improvement we might suggest (and this is really nit-picking) is a better attachment for the handle. It works fine with the clips provided but there might be room for a better design.

I have purchased three (3) of these concrete mixers over the last six (6) years. I will comment that they are robust and serve their purpose...you get what you pay for. Each of the three mixers that were purchased are different from each other, though the picture shows the same thing. Not a knock on the product, just an FYI for purchasers.

Easty to assemble. I only use one 80 lb at a time. I do not recommend using more than that.I put loctite on the "T" handle threads that holds the drum onto the drive shaft. If you don't do this it can come loose.Do NOT add stone to the mix!This is not a professional mixer and works well with one bag at a time!I have run over 30 bags of mix through this mixer and it's still going strong.For the price this is a decent product.

Mine arrived with damaged packaging, although it's not clear if this was the cause of missing parts or not. I did have the required parts (nuts and bolts), so was able to assemble it. The instructions were mediocre and didn't show some of the parts, e.g. washers either side of the wheels, release bolt.The motor is extremely noisy, but that is apparently normal, and not really an issue.Edit: The seller sent the another set of the hardware - good customer service.

Long story short. We had to bag mix and pour our 25ft long ,12ft wide ,4"deep patio. This mixer work great! Easy to put together,easy to use. It does not hold 5 cu.ft. of concrete(unless you want to destroy it) it does easily mix 3 60lb bags at a time. We did this project in 5ft sections over the course of the summer.

Does not mix. Cement sits in a big blob and just spins around inside.I tried first sand and cement only, does not mix.Next I tried to add the water first, again just a solid mass spinning around in the tub.Tub came with dents. Seller did offer to replace the unit, but I had a project to do so I agreed to just keep the unit.Second the metal cage around the motor cooling fan was damaged, preventing the motor from turning.I asked for a replacement motor or cage. Seller wouldn't/couldn't provide replacement motor or fan cage.So I tried to use without the cover to the motor, but since this unit DOESN'T actually mix the concrete it doesn't matter

It arrived with a big dent in the mixer. But its not a sports car, so no big deal.. It works very well and is suited to the job at hand.

The XtremepowerUS 5 Cubic Feet Portable Cement Mixer is to high and tips over whie in use with 1/2 bag of cement.The tip stop very cheap and sheared off on the first use. The Mixer is not Maneuverable it will not turn. THE XTREMEPOWER US 5 CUBIC FEET PORTABLE CONCRETE MIXER IS DANGEROUS TO USER AND HELPERS AND SHOULD BE TAKEN OFF THE MARKET.
