This charger is tiny! It gives the appearance of factory installed usb ports. My 12V port lid actually closes over this thing. Another huge thumbs up for the soft amber LED indicator....not distracting at all and much safer for night driving!UPDATE: I've begin to notice that these little guys trickle charge my devices. In other words: when using my phone for music or maps (especially both simultaneously) the phone is still losing battery power. Slower than without being plugged in at all....but LOSING power. I even turned the phone off and left it plugged in....3% gain in 15 minutes. Other plugs I own actually charge the phone even while navigation and pandora are active.

I purchased these USB charger adapters specifically because they can handle 24 volts and I'm driving a diesel Land Cruiser with 24 volt electrical system. Plugged it in, phone immediately started charging, zero problems! Four things I like about these units:1) They supply 2.1A which means my phone charges much faster than the usual 1A supply from car USB adapters.2) There's a little light on the adapters so you know they're getting power and supplying juice to your phone or tablet. It's a little thing but I like it.3) The units are very small. Fit right into the cigarette lighter receptacle and does not leave a big ugly thing hanging out of the dash...just the cord to my phone.4) And of course it has two USB ports on each adapter so my kids aren't bickering over whose device needs it more!I'll probably forget these are even in the truck as long as they keep working, so unless I post an update please assume they continue to work well (as of 11-17-16).

I bought this to use in my Honda Accord but wouldn't fit in the power socket so it now resides in my Ford F150. It arrived on schedule, well packaged with no damage. I am very rough with my electronics. I don't have the time nor the patience to mess with ever-so-delicate feminine phone cases that fall apart. Very nice,heavy car charger. I like the blue light it makes it easier to see in the dark. I also like that it has two ports. I can charge my phone and kindle at the same time.
