Dry Feet!!
Finally a boot that keeps my feet dry. I’ve purchased a few different “waterproof” boots on here and eventually end up with wet feet, failing soles etc. these are excellent, light AND waterproof as they claim. I work in pest control and am constantly walking through wet yards, puddles, working in the rain etc. Loving these boots!!

My Honest Review
I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to share my thoughts on this purchase. I was looking for new hiking boots when I found the NORTIV 8 boots. At first, I was hesitant, but after doing my research and reading the reviews here, I decided to give them a try. I’m glad I did. These boots are good quality for the price. The fit was perfect, and surprisingly, they felt great right out of the box without needing a break-in, quite a surprise. The boots arrived late Friday, and I hiked with them the next day. I went through streams, and they definitely keep water out. The comfort is excellent, and the style suits me perfectly. I plan to hit more trails soon, so we’ll see how they hold up. But so far, so good!

Nice boots but didn't work for me
I got these boots to replace my worn out Keens and was attracted by the Nortiv's much lower price. Also, since I liked the bigger toe box of the Keens, reviews saying these Nortiv boots also have roomy toes cinched the deal. In general I like the boots. My size is 12.5 but I usually order 13 to keep my toes happy. The fit on the Nortiv is very good for me. Even though they're less expensive boots, the fit and finish is fine. Construction is solid. The removable insoles have good arch support. I think these would have worked great for me, except... The only thing I didn't like: on my left foot, right above the ankle where the tongue meets the shoe upper, I get a very uncomfortable pressure point underneath one of the eyelets. My other foot is fine so maybe the problem is with my foot and not the boot? I walked around a bit and the problem didn't go away, so sadly, I decided to return the boots.

Good-Not Just Good For The Price
I love these so far. I have only lightly hiked in them, but so far they do what they’re supposed to do. They are VERY comfortable for all day. They are responsive. They have really good traction. They are reasonably light, especially for the price. They require little break in, and were true to size. As I hike more, I will update. So far, I have zero complaints.

Honest review on fit from someone with wider feeth
These boots are well made with decent materials and build quality. They are heavier than expected but seems durable. However, the fit was more snug than expected. Upon delivery, I tried these on and knew immediately that the shoe were to narrow. I have slightly wider feet than most for a 9.5 shoe size. However, there have been instances where 9.5 medium fit fine depending on the shoe. Not the case with these. If you have wider feet, I would suggest sizing up OR finding another pair of boots that offer wide width. I decided to try these Nortivs due to the cheaper price and based on the reviews but it seems that I will be returning them and buying the Columbia Newton Ridge Plus in 9.5 wide. These were my previous boots that held up to 2 years of demanding fishing off the rocks and uneven terrain. Disclaimer: I did not give a proper break in time for the boots nor did I use these boots as intended. Worn only on initial test fit which was obviously tighter than expected. Placed them back in the box for immediate return.

Comfortable
Very comfortable. My feet were starting to bother me, it was the shoes I was wearing. I bought a pair of the Nortiv boots and haven’t had a problem since. They’re a nice dress shoe unless you start wearing all the time like I did. I bought a second pair also!
