Great Product!
So far I have made about 10 cuts on 1 3/8" galvanized chain link fence top rail and it has worked perfectly. Using it is easier, more precise, and probably cheaper than using a hacksaw due to the cost of blades and how fast I go through them. To date, I am not experiencing the spiraling that other have reported, and the blade appears to be staying sharp. I expect that this tool will last me for awhile since I won't be using it that often.

Excellent for what I needed.
I was looking for a pipe cutter to reduce the size of my new bicycle handlebars, I needed one that would cut at least 1 1/8 inch in diameter and most importantly that would cut chromoly steel. I read a review of this cutter where the buyer was able to cut seatpost and the like. So I ordered this one for similar projects. Iโm pleased with the results. Iโve only used it for one project, so donโt know how long it will last, I also noticed that the first cut was a little faster than the second and that might be due to the cutting wheel not being โbrand newโ on the second cut. This could just be wear on the wheel since itโs cutting steel and not soft metals like aluminum or copper. So take my review with a grain of salt. 9-13-22

Works surprisingly well
I bought this for one use - to cut a pipe on a powdercoated piece of tubular steel. It cut right through it with minimal effort. I will say that the second time I tried to use it, the screw holding the cutting wheel in place fell out, but it was no broken and was able to be screwed back in, fit snugly, and functioned perfectly on subsequent use, so I wouldn't let that discourage you, just be aware to check it if you buy one. Would very much recommend.

Does not cut 2 inch pipe (won't fit)
It's really my fault for not understanding the description, but I'm annoyed enough I'm taking off a star as I think it should be underlined that this "2 1/8 inch" pipe cutter will NOT FIT OR CUT "2 inch" schedule 40 PVC or ABS pipe. It's frustrating, as it could if it opened about 1/8" more. The pipe is sized by ID, and the OD is larger by 2x the wall thickness. This cutter works fine on 1 inch pipe. After some radical surgery and J-B Weld (see photo), it also works on 2-inch pipe. You have to be slow and careful to keep it aligned on the first few passes, or you may cut a spiral. Note the package only says for plastic or copper pipe, they make no claim of suitability for iron pipe.

Cut the pipe, but also ruined the finish.
I bought this to cut the boom on a recumbent bike the I purchased. The boom was aluminum and about 2 1/8" in diameter. While the tool did cut the pipe, it also completely ruined the paint job by scratching it up. The side of the larger, non-cutting, wheel also dug into the paint while turning to cut. While this may not be a problem if you are cutting pipes for plumbing that will be out of sight, it was a problem for my needs. I ended up going down to the local hardware store and picking up another cutter which didn't have the same problem. It did, however, cost more money.

Great price
Great price ( the best ) ships super fast, As soon as I received it I cut sic sections of thick walled hard 1 1/2" copper pipe, worked great except loses the tracking a bit when cutting very near edge of pipe ( to be expected ). Already more than paid for itself. This is almost 1/10th the price of other large diameter copper pipe cutters !!

May not cut straight
I received this 5 days earlier than the expected delivery date, but it came with the blade being wobbly. I don't need the pipe reamer, so I removed that from this. I didn't realize the blade was wobbly at first, so my first cut came out as a spiral around the pipe about a 16th of an inch apart. In attempting to fix the wobble, I unscrewed the blade from the device and inserted the paper-thin washer that came out from removing the pipe reamer. It was very tight to get back together with that washer. And still the blade did not easily cut straight. I had to twist the cutter, by its handle, just slightly enough to keep the blade cutting in a somewhat straight line. I got it to work well enough.

Great quality
Nice having a reamer built-in, and the finish is most excellent - either a very good lacquer, or more likely powder coated(*), so great (*) If you don't know: The very hot item is dipped into a fluidized bed of powdered thermal melting paint, and it adheres everywhere and melts into a glassy smooth finish as it is quickly pulled out of the bed.

can not get a good cutting. I replace the cutting wheel
Used it to cut closet rod 2 times, it starts to make screw threads, can not get a good cutting. I replace the cutting wheel, it still make thread. I have to use hand saw to complete the job. It is not a strong and durable cutting tool. It is useless.
